TT is never for value unless villain is a fish.

If villain's 4bet stays 10% on a bigger sample this 5bet shove still can't be profitable.
We'll get called by 3% and will for sure be behind with TT.
The other thing I would look for in future is villain's 4bet sizing. It's rather big and some players have a different sizings for value or bluff 4bets.

it is good for us if he only calls with 3% we want him to fold
if he 4bets 10% and calls with 3% the 5bet is profitable
if he 4bets 10% depolarised and calls with top 10% the 5bet is not profitable

i made a wrong calculation it is not true what i said
the 5bet is always profitabe but it is more profitable if he folds AJ AQ and so on

(didnt read other coments)
if you are confident postflop, good to squize smaller (10bb) to keep weaker hands in the pot. However his 4bet sizing is face up never folding, check you equity against AK JJ+, it is fold then
another option is just save call preflop

Calling preflop in this spot vs these opponents is one thing that i stopped doing and it is one thing that improved my game.

So you put TT vs his 4bet range and it shows profit.

Ohhhh after all that, I see now that hero squeezes:f_biggrin::f_biggrin::f_biggrin: In this case, I agree with squeeze, but after the 4bet I would fold. My assumption is that with the potential fish in the hand his 4bet range is a lot tighter.

both, of course we prefer to get a fold

both? sry mate, but always in poker you should know why you do the things you do, otherwise something needs to be improved in your thinking process.

Is ok when you have doubts, this is a never ending learning way and is perfectly fine ask for different opinions, but value 5 betting as a bluff is a big leak in your mental game.

Hero doesn't have enough info to say if it is absolutely for value or for bluff. It means - on one hand we could get enough folds for our 5bet to be profitable, on the other hand we don't mind to get called by hand like AJ, AQ, ATs.

Agree, We can be ahead or behind on that spot, maybe we have a good Fold Equity 5betting TT against this villiain. My point is that value betting and bluffing in the same move is just a contradiction. For example, you can bet a TPGK in a wet board expecting a fold and getting called by something worse. The move at first is right but the thinking process isn't. Hope you understand what I mean :f_biggrin:

I prefer calling preflop. If we decided to squeeze, I don't think we can turn this hand into a bluff, so we have to shove or call vs his 4bet. Since I don't think we will be called from worse in case we shove, I believe that, theoreticaly, call would be better, but probably close with shoving. The reasons are: 1) In case of calling we will be oop postflop (harder to play and get value) and we risk to see J, Q, K or A, which are potentionally in his 4bet bluffing range, especially an A; 2) In case of shoving we have a fold equity and despite of being behind of his calling range, we still have an equity. If he has AK in his calling range, against KK+, AK we have 40% of equity. Hmm, who knows, maybe shoving is even more profitable in the long run, if we combine equity and fold equity.
