Hi,

PokerSnowie supports only original hand histories generated by the various poker sites. If you are experiencing any issue with them, I suggest you contact our support at support@pokersnowie.com and send us some sample files for us to check.

Thanks,
The PokerSnowie Team

EDIT: solved

Hi,

I see you solved it -- in fact we do support iPoker hands. Anyway, if any problem happens while importing hands, just contact our support.

Thanks,

Hi,

if I understood correctly, this is already somehow possible. In the challenge mode you can click on the button "EVALUATION" while playing and you will see the evaluation. But you can also close the popup displaying the evaluation as well.

I have anyway passed the idea of showing the evaluation with the mouse hover -- thanks for the suggestion.

I would like to ask you a question. What is your honest opinion about Snowie's ability on playing 25 BB like in HUSNG Hypers? I've read somewhere that Snowie does not have a big experience in playing short stacked. On the other hand short stack (25 BB) HU seems to be more mathematical, so GTO solution should be more important. Also, in short stack there is less creativity so there is less experience needed. In theory at least. I dont know how it would be in practice. Thats why I would like to hear your comment or the comment from the other user.

Hi,

I have passed this question to our AI team for a better answer. We will get back here shortly.

Hi,

unfortunatley this is not possible. PokerSnowie analyzes your play independently from your opponents.

Hi,

like stated above, we do apologize again for this long time without answer. We were not getting any notification of posts in this thread and therefore a lot of question went unsanswered.

Hi,

we are always very open to suggestion and we aknowledge that our user interface could be improved. We are in fact working on it with some important partners. If you would like to share some of your specific comments here, I would be happy to review them and take everything under consideration.

Regards to all,

Hi,

this is correct. When we get AI related queries, we prefer to ask to our AI team, and therefore the answer usually might take a few days as it's difficult for us to answer right away. On the other hand, if there is any issue related with your account, we usually answer on a daily basis.

Thanks,
The PokerSnowie Team

we have forwarded this question to our AI team for a more appropriate answer. I'll revert back here once I get the feedback.

Hi,

PokerSnowie does not consider the prize distribution, therefore it's not ideal for all the phases of a MTT tournament. At the very beginning it's for sure OK and it's probably useful as well also during any phase in order to get a base evaluation of the situation, evaluation which should be then reviewed depending on the prize distribution and the status of the tournament, as the right play might change dramatically from a cash game GTO evaluation.

For SNG, when the winner takes all, the evaluations are reliable. With the exception that in HU, with very shallow stakes, PokerSnowie still has some minor weaknesses which will be fixed this year.

Thanks,

Hi,

In short stack games, the GTO solution is indeed simpler, as the complexity of the game is smaller.

We believe that Snowie's game is quite solid at 25 BB.

How Snowie was trained, however, it was learning to avoid the most costly mistakes. As potential mistakes are much bigger in deep stack games, Snowie automatically put its focus there.

Therefore I would say that humans have a better chance of beating Snowie at short stacks, where the game is less complex

Thanks,

Poker Stars, $0.01/$0.02 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

Hero (SB): $2.29 (114.5 bb)
BB: $2.28 (114 bb)
UTG: $2 (100 bb)
MP: $2.03 (101.5 bb)
CO: $1.87 (93.5 bb)
BTN: $2.21 (110.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 9 T
4 folds, Hero raises to $0.06, BB calls $0.04

Flop: ($0.12) 2 5 8 (2 players)
Hero bets $0.08, BB calls $0.08

Turn: ($0.28) T (2 players)
Hero bets $0.18, BB calls $0.18

River: ($0.64) Q (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $0.30, Hero folds

Results:

Spoiler

$0.64 pot ($0.02 rake)
Final Board: 2 5 8 T Q
Hero mucked 9 T and lost (-$0.32 net)
BB mucked and won $0.62 ($0.30 net)

Basically, pokersnowie says in the hand breakdown and advice feature that the opponent always has the nuts and we always have worse hands, but that we should always call with our worse hands. It pretty much makes no sense because it's the river so there's no more cards to consider.

Could someone who has pokersnowie try to explain what's going on here because I can't understand it.

Thanks

Hi,

we believe the following FAQ should answer this:

I downloaded PokerSnowie a few hours ago. Some folks on 2+2 were making fun of GTO based analysis. I wanted to show them that PS's advice was far better than anyone posting. I created some scenarios which I found cumbersome (there's no undo button if for example you enter the wrong action for someone).

Maybe you're supposed to save the scenario after each street, so you can close/reopen and perform an undo that way? But if that was true you could save the scenario before there's any action at all, so it's really unlimited -- so I didn't try that.

I updated a couple threads showing that posters were giving wrong advice on all streets. But already it says the free trial will allow no more scenario evaluations. So I'm be unable to show anyone else that PokerSnowie is better than the average 2+2 poster.

Long story short, given the user interface, 100 scenario evaluations isn't enough to even begin to use the software.
