Villain is a 26/20 reg.

Is this a standard 2 barrel or I'm not making anything fold here?
Shall I just check back and realize my equity, especially vs a reg?

$0.05/$0.10 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 5 Players

BB: $11.05 (110.5 bb)
MP: $20.04 (200.4 bb)
CO: $10 (100 bb)
Hero (BTN): $10.98 (109.8 bb)
SB: $9.73 (97.3 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with J♣ 8♣
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.30, SB folds, BB calls $0.20

Flop: ($0.65) T♦ 9♠ 3♣ (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.40, BB calls $0.40

Turn: ($1.45) T♣ (2 players)
BB checks, Hero ???

Could this be moved to the hand discussion forum please.

I just realized there is a separate section for HH.

Thanks

Done.

I would normal check behind and try to hit my straight or flush.
If you have reads and/or stats that he folds a lot on turn Cbets I would bet here.

This hand has equity and no SD value whatsoever. I am betting at least once more. It wouldn't be nice to face a check-raise, but these aren't very common. I am taking that risk.

I'm checking behind since I expect lower FE on paired T. Also our draws are weaker on paired board. However villain fold vs flop and turn cbet would be useful

Seems like xb is reasonable.

with some decent stats i am going to b/f to a raise ott. if he calls, and i improve (hit the club) otr...or make like 30% pot bet and f to a raise...

Bet the turn ~70% of pot. You have great equity here and you can get better hands to fold easily. Then re-evaluate the river, obv going to bet any and Q/7, since we don't have any showdown value and we are at the bottom of our range OTR if we don't hit I'd be bluffing pretty often here.

Questions (to those who recommend check-back): Which hands do we bet for value? Which hands do we bet for bluff?

I see little point in bluffing with an underpair (that beat overs) or, say, A♣:K♣:. FE goes down considerably.
