This guy was a tag im guessing he had a hand like TT with a diamond

Hero (SB): $7.87
BB: $3.44
UTG: $4.17
MP: $13.12
CO: $5.00
BTN: $5.00

Pre Flop: ($0.13) Hero is SB with Q :diamond: K :diamond:
UTG calls $0.05, MP raises to $0.20, 2 folds, Hero calls $0.18, 1 fold, UTG calls $0.15

Flop: ($0.71) 3 :diamond: J :diamond: 2 :spade: (3 players)
Hero checks, UTG checks, MP checks

Turn: ($0.71) 2 :diamond: (3 players)
Hero bets $0.34, UTG calls $0.34, MP calls $0.34

River: ($1.73) T :spade: (3 players)
Hero bets $0.83, UTG folds, MP raises to $12.57 all in, Hero folds

Final Pot: $3.39
MP wins $3.25
(Rake: $0.14)

Hi!

Preflop, I prefer to 3bet or fold here. By calling, it is certain that UTG is coming in. With KQs OOP, in a 3 ways hand, it's difficult to put pressure without the lead unless you hit the board.

As play, why only half pot on turn ?

I also think that 3betting would be better preflop. Betting slightly more on the turn wouldn't be bad. Then on the river I would bet and fold even the nut flush. I don't think he is ever bluffing there nor doing that with 2x.

The problem with calling pre is if the limper raises we will have to throw away our hand. 3 bet or fold.
River is a fold.

the reason I called was because the limper was a fish a at 72/11 100 hand sample and the raiser was a tag so I decided to call so the limper calls behind and play vs him if I hit TP that was my plan I don't see any value in raising the TAG and getting the fish to fold, and the tag to play his value range since he will only call a 3 bet with a hand that dominates me massively

I will start explaining my though process better in each hand so we can avoid wasting our time :f_biggrin:

I had the nut flush no sign of sets no sign of any hand at all really, so I was extracting value I didn't think id be called y anything with a big bet sizing

I highly doubt folding is better than calling.

limpers usually limp with a weak range of hands some like to limp reraise with aces

I think a small raise in position could be good espiecally if we think MP is iso'ing with a wide range - sometimes we take down 6.5bb's uncontested

good fold on the river, being able to fold here when your opponants can't will give you a big edge

yeah they do limp with AA occasionally but likely to min 4 bet in that case I can just fold or call for the correct stack sizes, in any case the ammound of bad hands he will limp with will outweigh the limped with AA also this type of player is more likely to min raise with AA in my experience with them

Limp/ re-raise is typical move, done with AA, KK.
So if the limper re-raises us we should fold anyway.

preflop is standard, 3 betting looks like a mistake when opener is (I will assume) a solid reg, and bb is 99% a fish. we push the fish out of so many hands that we crush, and we aren't very happy when the reg calls let alone if he 4bets.
turn bet bigger, we are probably not inducing anything with 1/2 pot unless you have some reads, and we lose value vs all the A♦: and PPs that he will probably call turn and snap fold river with. river fold looks fine you rarely see a random spew here. but a thinking reckless reg might bluff A♦: X if he decides that you are folding everything except the nut flush or better to this sizing. if he thinks that you don't have a cold calling range on the sb (or a narrow ccing range) assuming you will 3b/fold small pocket pairs and 3b TT/JJ for value, well then his line could make sense for the only bluff you might beat .
