A very good question. This might explain why I see so many people opening less than 3 BB in UTG and MP (6-handed).
It seems odd to me, since when opening so small, BB has almost always good odds to call.

Most people don't defend their blinds correctly as they should. I've thought about limping from the SB also as Snowie does with half it's range there but it's way more complicated and you'll just end up tilting yourself considering your basically just shooting yourself in the foot when the BB was probably going to fold 65% of the time and give you auto profit. Just opening from the SB for 3x is far easier for post hand analysis also so even if it turns out this SB limping half the time with that monstrosity of a SB open range Snowie uses is correct, I don't think we'll ever see it in most of the games. Also, consider the time hero wastes by limping and playing postflop as opposed to getting the hand over with quickly for such a negligible +EV.

Could you give me an estimate of Snowie's overall cbet and/or aggression %?
I know this depends hand to hand but I mainly have much lower stats in this regard than everyone else and I want to know what Snowie does for comparison. I find it difficult getting my cbet and aggression % up to 40-50% which seems like a good range. I know a ton of people even use 60% and 70% for both stats but I don't want to talk about exploits here.

a few more words from our AI team: opening 0.5 pot (to 2.25x) instead of opening 3x indeed gives the big blind player quite good pot odds. Therefore you may think that 3x should be a superior bet size. However, many of the big blind calls after a 2.25x opening raise are just borderline calls, with almost zero EV, due to the bad implied odds out of position.
Snowie seems to think that it is better to allow more borderline calls of the big blind player, and at the same time risking less money by raising a lower amount.

or the software generates ranges based on hand history ? Or it assume that every villain "rational" ?

with PokerSnowie you can't edit villain's ranges.
The hand ranges are generated assuming that every player would play liker PokerSnowie.

These numbers we don't have. They depend also on the opponents' playing style a bit, and to compare to the human stats we would need to have Snowie playing in similar games.

Couldn't you simulate 6 pokersnowies playing each other over a smallish sample and then from there you could bring up the average 6-max stats?
I know it depends on the players you're playing against but if you consider snowie to be a good player then it would be interesting to see what kinds of stats it comes up with while playing against itself.

Hi, Just purchased the pro version and all of the hands that I'm trying to import are not showing anything other than a loading circle under details. I've tried importing some hands from PKR which didn't work then played 100 hands in the challenge and none of those are coming through. I keep getting "Cash_20150919222904197" with 0 Hands and Failed Status. Please help!

It may be a server problem on their end but I'm not sure. I'm getting a failed status also.

Is it true that snowie has weak strategy at short stacks like 20bb or less? For example, blind vs blind snowie shoves 76% as SB at 10bbs, while all other equilibrium software suggests 58%. I just want this confirmed, so I do not get wrongful advice from snowie.
Also, could you please rank the strength of snowie roughly ordered based on stack depth and game size? HU>6max>FR? 100bb>50bb>30bb>20bb>200bb?
I would like to have a better idea where snowie is strongest.

PokerSnowie has some known weaknesses in HU short stack (<20BB roughly). Beside this, we believe it's equally strong in 3+ players games, up to 400BB stack. Above 400BB stack is also good, but in this case the AI is extrapolating the evaluations, because it did not see often these stacks during its training, and therefore occasionally it might give weak advices.
