Dude why are you angry, playing at 888 is hugely -ev in any way. Have you even looked up how much rake those bastards are charging?

saying its portuguese culture to be offended by that is offensive in its own way. u take it the way u want dont bring everyone into ur opinion. the closest my friends are the more offensive things i call them. u are probably from Southern Portugal. in the north the more u say that the more u like someone. so everytime a portuguese says filho da puta to me in poker chat i take the northern approach and just reply "i like u too, and thanks for ur Money btw"

OK, it is with immense sadness that depress me immensely when thread like this one appear where different point of view and opinions ending up to create only an unnecessary bloom of explosive divergence as described for what's happening on the tables of 888 Poker.

I cannot avoid to express my opinion and maybe forward some advice as Im playing on that room for so many years.

What make the room a bit attractive is the fact that many tables are not regs fixed and as side effect (like medicine and anything else exist in this reality of our universe) you will end up to face occasional players that haven't any poker personality and because it is the room policy to reduce the no of regs to encourage more recreational player, you must really realize that and ignore anything they say, they do or what-so-ever

Let they use bad language, use the tools that the room give them (like graphic eggs or tomato to splash on your face for example) while you concentrate to take their money.

You may suffering some real swing do the high variance because their poor playing that let them play with everything and follow to the death their draw looks like a lottery but if you do many hands (when I say many I mean many) in the long run they will be left with their insult while you go home with your wallet full with their money

You shouldn't have to block chat if others are breaking rules...just like at the live casino, and I have seen it done; the manager wont ask you if you want a pair of ear muffs to block out the player from swearing/speaking a language other then what is permitted at the table, they will let the other player know that they are breaking the poker room rules and will get tossed if it persists. FYI, it was pretty cool when I saw it...they tossed him out but befor leaving he grabbed his cards tore them in half. That's my two cents.
