awww thanks you guys :f_love:

My hand is slowly getting better, unfortunately seems it will take quite some time to heal. At least it doesn't hurt thaaaat much anymore.

Have to start studying intensly for exams in 2 weeks, but I'm going to try to squeeze in a few poker sessions here and there and hopefully update a bit here too :f_love:

damn, shame I did not see your accident with boiling water earlier. the trick is actually to put your hands in ice for about 20 minutes immediately after burning yourself. it heals completely and pretty much immediately... I know it's a bit late but it might be useful another time (hopefully not though) or to someone else who will stumble upon it.

Speaking from experience with boiling oil!

I've decided to make a cashout of $50-$100 when the BR reaches $500! As a little motivation/treat to myself :f_biggrin:

Do you guys have any suggestions?? I was thinking maybe a new headset and some new training clothes. Something to spoil myself - sponsored by the microstakes ofc :f_biggrin: :f_love: Maybe a personal developement themed book... I'd really like to hear some suggestions from you guys as well before I make up my mind!

Joshua: Haha, I stay away from sugar and simple carbs. :) I already have a super comfortable chair, the one thing I want that would improve my comfort is one of those desks that you can raise and lower to standing position etc... but I don't think even cashing out the entire BR building roll is enough to cover that :f_frown:

Thazar: haha yea damn those things are cool but I just bought a new keyboard like 2 months ago :f_biggrin:

SvenBe: Hahahaha come on!! would be funny to see how far off your taste in women's clothing is from mine :f_biggrin: about the headsets, I bought a sennheister last year (the one I currently have) in the ~30 pricerange but tbh I want a new one because this one first of all those ear muffs broke and I had to sow them back on with some fabric over them, when contacting sennheister they said i can BUY new ones (for like $8 + shipping)... they're quite uncomfortable after >1h of use... soooo that's why I'm thinking about getting some sharkoon ones instead this time. Maybe they got them in pink? :f_cool:

Pink, PINK? ... i am very sure our tastes wouldn't match for the clothing.
For the Sennheiser, where did you buy it? I hope amazon, because they have the superior support. Instead of claiming it from Sennheiser, simply contact amazon. So far i made very good experience there. About the other ones, I can't really help as Sennheiser are the only ones we really use here...

.oO btw, BR challengeupdataments!

I dont have much pink clothing actually, apart from some tank tops. I prefer pink or purple on the "decorations" such as flowers for my hair, or a headset or fluffy winter shoes for inside etc :f_love:

yes sorry sorry, here it is!

:spade: Week 30 summary :spade:

Hands: 143
Profit: $3.29
Current BR: $438.01

See why I need the motivation, sicko volume :roto2: ah it will hopefully get better once the exams are done :)

Hi vonki,

Great blog too! I look forward to following your progress.

I'm going to add a 20% rakeback (I have no idea what rakeback you could achieve on these limits and since I play higher in my normal games (NL25) I'll just count weekly or monthly on the rake I produced and add it to my winnings until further notice).

I hadn't thought about the rake in my challenge!! I shall now.

Hope your hand gets better soon. Slightly off the subject but I was in a hyperbaric chamber (decompression tank) a year ago and they have been doing wonders with burns patients and helping recovery though o2 therapy. It is also used in teatment of ms and sports recovery.
oxygen therapy

Good luck in your challenge.

My regards

Matt

metalmonkey80: Thank you for your well wishes! :) About the rakeback: I did add it in the beginning since I find that rakeback IS important at the micros. However, lately I have not been adding it. Will do it the tough way, without rakeback, show that it's possible! :sifflote:

FrozenElf & giorgio23 : thank you guys! :f_love:

No freaking idea whoever came up with the idea of having an exam on a Saturday... :fouet:

Will be some intensive days of studying until then, won't have time to play :( Will do a little study break tomorrow though to bake some delicious... Uhh, no idea what they are called in english so just a picture instead:

Can't wait! :roto2:

Hey, vonki! How's your hand?

Those thingies look delicious! Are you willing to share the recipe? :f_wink:

Good luck with challenge! Hopefully you'll have time to put more volume in :profit:

My hand is quite well thank you! Finally the itching is gone and all the dead skin has pealed off... It's really torture when it's itching like crazy and you're not allowed to scratch it :f_ugly: the new skin is just a shade or two pinker than the rest of my hand so I think in time it will not be visible at all thankfully :f_love:

Sure, I'll just have to translate the recipe from Swedish first. I'm sure it would be easier (and less time consuming) though to just search for "pasties recipe" on google

In fact, I googled and this one has 5/5 stars for example:

http://www.tasteofhome.com/recipes/upper-peninsula-pasties

Made the dough last night and let it rest in the fridge overnight... mmmh, can't wait!

Thanks for your well wishes and for stopping by! :f_love:

PS. Thanks 8runo for providing us with the correct... name?! :f_thumbsup:

Oh wow, thanks, I'm really happy that you liked it so much! :f_love: welcome to the blog :)

for NL25 I will stick to the 30 BI that I decided on when I started the challenge! thus $750. Not quite there yet. But step by step we'll get there! :f_thumbsup:
