Opponent is unknown. I c-bet flop, I 2nd barrel scare card, and river looks like a blank. Which is my line?
I don't know if a busted gutshot is enough to check/call here. I tend to check/fold as the board was pretty dry.

Couldn't he be calling down worse A-high? (well, probably don't betting it on the river, but vs the average guys I play, you never know)

As you said he should check it behind most of the time. So if you think that he has A-high often enough then better bet/fold. (I like to get a free showdown here more as he won't have it often enough. ^^)
He also limped preflop so this lowers the chance too.
