NL50 KQo 4 bet pot

i like the bet size on flop at first sight.
But it leaves us with odd stacks on turn.
If i would play the hand now, i would bet flop 6$ and bet turn 16$.
This way we let villain shove over us with his draws?

As played , shoving turn.. i'm wondering what worse hands could call here.
Only QJ and JJ, so we deffinetely not have a value shove.

i dont see myself folding TPSK or TPTK in 4bet pot so i'm check calling. Same result in this case

preflop i would make at least 9.25$

flop betsize should be around 10$ if you would like to play 2 streets.
I prefer betting flop 4.5$ bet turn 9$
I think checking flop is also good if you dont have wide 4 betting range.

as played your turn shove is profitable only if his calling pre and flop T9 and ATo,KTo types of hands.

Preflop I prefer calling the 3b. it's definitly not strong enough to go broke, but strong enough to not to turn into a bluff.
As played, I don't like the line you did took postflop, I think you will be often dominated by AQ. Even if you can find weaker hands which call you down, you barely perform better than BE. I almost certain that you can generate more EV by checking either the flop or turn.

Preflop both ways are fine 3bet call is maybe more standard play, but 4 bet can be more +ev . So it's more about how you construct your ranges.
Also if villain has large 4 bet call % then 4 betting is good here

What about checking the flop ? I can't see much reasons to bet here.. we never have 3 streets of value and checking could let villain bluffs sometimes

The problem is when villain bets on turn how would you know where you are after you check on flop?

I think ethanol idea is exactly that. Checking the flop to a possibly call on turn vs a wider range that include some bluffs on it.
