Hi Aerox232,

first of all i would 3bet out of position with a call er a lot higher - arround 0.7$.

On the Flop flop we deside to bet a rather large amount of money in a 3bet pot and on a dry board. Thinking of your hole range you would bet on that kind of board and balance out with your c/c range its not a fault to check qq here.

Turnplay is kind of the opposite you deside now to bet a lot smaller, even you should protect now (and honestly T is not in your 3bet range very often). here i would bet between 1/2 and 2/3 pot.

As you played the hole hand you are in the shape of having a taff desition on the river. You narrowed down his range already on the flop to his value range. As a general Approach i would not bluffcatch in those spots where you have no reads what so ever and fold the river.

Best Regards B9rd

so technically you 3bet as a bluff?

do you have stats or reads on those players, that they are that tight?

We should squeeze bigger. And we cannot fold our hand vs a raise.
Postflop board is dry, paired and there is no need to make such big bets.
On the river we are folding.

Sqz bigger pre. Standard cbet size in 3bet pots is 1/2pot. Fold OTR. After turn call I don't see villain bluffing here.

Squeeze bigger PF.
OTF you can either check or bet low.
As played i don't get why you did bet the turn. JJ may still be calling but i see a bunch of people folding jacks in that spot. 99 and 88 will almost always fold. So you barelly have a value bet there.
OTR is an easy fold. Calling there is like burning money. People on NL5 don't bluff that much and as played is much likely he has almost zero bluffs in his range.

I would bet once the flop , and the c/f turn and river. His range is really strong there, and i don ´t think that he bets turn and river with JJ, because no worse hand is calling his bet, and he dont has to protect that hard.

Interesting.
Regarding the 3bet - You said you planned to fold to a 4-bet, that is why you bet smaller.
The inherent problem with this is that players will see your play as a squeeze. Not as a normal 3-bet. That means they would put you on a slightly wider range, which would make it easier for them to play back. It would not be a normal 4-bet.

Also, by not taking into account the caller and squeezing with a higher amount, you are also giving them better pot odds, so they can widen their range a bit more.
In other words, QQ aren't a bluff here against anti-squeeze 4-bets, even in zoom.

Also, even when you intend to fold in other situation, with other cards, at least add a bit to the raise to account for the caller.
You lose more when you fail, but even some 5 NL zoom players can understand something is wrong with your 3-bet size and start exploiting it.

Technically, you lose a lot of equity with QQ if you even turn it into a bluff in squeeze situation.

Annoying hand, but the one important suggestion has already been said - bet smaller on the flop there, and fold the river unless you remember the opponent and have a specific read (more difficult in zoom).

Most of the time you would lose that river in that spot.
I wonder if mr. 99 could even get here had the bet been higher on the squeeze pre.

I'd say this hand was played horribly by both players.
