It's a close one. I think that you'll have to consider villains ranges here. What does he 3bet preflop and then bet multiway OTF, probably not a bluff at least.

So pre-flop AQs is probably not good enough when he 3 bets. But since you get pretty good odds when two guys already have called i front of you, I think the call is OK.

OTF I think we should be rather picky actually. We probably want some thing like top pair or a flush draw to make any moves at all otherwise I think it's a x/fold. What would call you with the x/raise, I'd say only better hands would.

These are my thoughts, hope it's to some help for you,

I think pre call is fine. OTF I would have just called. Only better hands will call our shove but imo TPTK is too strong to fold here.

Hmm. I usually don't reason this way, but the buttons bet looks very much like a bet for value. It is 4-ways in a 3-bet pot (which he took cold preflop without having fish stats) and the bet size doesn't look like the usual stab attempt last to speak. I think call flop, fold to most turn bets is a good option. Shoving or folding isn't horrible, but these are primitive options designed to make life easier (life = turn play), not necessarily better.

I prefer shoving the flop if hero decides to stay in the hand. Considering the spr on the turn I think in most cases villain will just put the rest of his stack.

The PF 3bettor isnt the flop bettor so its slightly different, but yeah I agree usually when anyone bets any flop into that many people it isnt a bluff.
Even if it isn't a bluff I'm personally never folding TPTK there

Well, you got you money in with top pair top kicker and just got unlucky being up against pocket kings. Sucks, but I think you played it the best you could.

I like the way it is played. Yes, it is basic and easy but it is right.
