On flop I'm trying to induce some bluffs and use my 6 as bluffcatcher. On turn my 6 is to weak to call again, because lots of rivers will kill my hand. Normally I would fold here, but decided to shove and get him off better hands and let him pay for his possible flushdraws... I'm doubting my play here though :f_rolleyes:

Pre is good.

IMO you should cb OTF and protect mostly vs overcards, you give him chance to to x back with his 6 outs or to start bluffing with them and it would be very hard for you to continue on many turns, what would you do if turn card would be T/J/Q/K/A or heart and he barrels again?

As played hard to see any value hand playing this way, so I think you are folding only weaker hands.

On an A I would definitely shove, other turn cards would be hard yes.
I was doubting flop play because I would have a hard time when villain would raise my cbet on flop...

I see your point, but what does he actually can raise OTF which beats you? Most players would not raise any overpair, because you have QQ+ in your range and BU doesn't unless he is very aggressive and has some dynamics with you. His potential value range should be sets/65s, but you block 66 and 65s, given that he is tither pre flop( PFR: 16) it might be indication that he wouldn't call 22 or 55/65s pre ( would be nice to see fold to 3b stat), IMO most of the time he will be raising draws and some over cards w backdoors, of course it will be hard to play oop, but you have to. Just make sure when you cb here OTF, cb the same amount as you would cb w JJ+, that BU couldn't pick the read on you.

personally I dont like x/c here as this hand is too vulnerable

Yeah, I think we should be cbetting here all day long... unless you're checking your KK and AA from time to time on this flop (which I think you're not)

People love to float these flops =) And like already mentioned, we probably have the best hand, although a vulnerable one, so protection is a good thing.

If he raises it sucks a little bit. I disagree with luckyman saying that he's not raising an overpair, I think he could very well could and probably should raise TT and JJ, being BB v BTN. So yeah, maybe we have to b/f to raise, but that really depends on the dynamics with the player.

I think in general terms we could bet and THEN bluff catch against floats.

As played, you probably made villain fold a worse hand than yours.

i think betting the flop usually is good, your hand is alright but very vulnerable when your pair is 6high. checkcall sometimes is also fine as part of a balanced strategy. I agree that your playability on the turn is terrible. I doubt you can fold out stronger hands unless he is extremely weak tight, but the point of shoving here is to ease playability, and protect your hand. If he folds a flush draw, that's great, if he calls with a flush draw, he is making a mistake which is great as well.
Shoving here is mostly a protection play, and since the SPR is low, risk/reward for our shove is a lot more favourable.
