Hero raises to $0.70, MP calls $0.70, fold, fold, SB raises to $3.05, Hero ???

My main problem actually is that we have a midstack behind and the squeeze from the SB looks pretty committing. He squeezed 1/9 times so far from the blinds, but has a 3bet of 15% overall. Would you take this as an indicator to call with AQo here? Or is it in your standard calling range vs. Squeezes? I think I am folding too much in this spot (as I mucked AQo in this hand because of the guy behind who may make Villains Range significantly stronger

it is a big squeeze and so it is never too wrong here to fold.
Villain also has 14% 3bet (over a very small sample) which is very big So if you feel brave you could try flicking it back ($5.4) or anything up to $6.3 I'd say but give up after that.

I also make my opening bet a bit bigger from UTG normally (3 to 3.5bb)

If you 4bet, it's as a bluff. Ideally MP ships and SB folds but that's optimistic. Since you opened UTG your range is stronger and SB probably knows this. Folding is best imo.

A regular never squeezes a short guy for bluff. Give him credit and fold AQo.

At the same time that he's not bluff squeezing, he might very well have a lighter value range, due to the midstack, against which he'd probably be happy to get it in w/ AJ+, 99+.

I actually don't mind a 4bet. Folding is fine as well. I guess it really is opponent and dynamics dependent.

caltabiano, even w the range u mentioned we are not that far ahead vs his bottom part. But, yes, we are really crushed vs the top, mid high of it.

Hi,

Careful when using stats, 100 hands is definitely not enough to have kind of an idea of villains 3B range !!!

Anyway, with the short stack here he's never light.. snap fold

This is an important and overlooked truth. One hundred hands can be good to get an idea of how he plays, especially vpip and pfr. But for 3bet stat to be usefull we need more sample.

The sample size is not that big and we cannot use much stats.
SB is squeezing big vs UTG and shortstack MP. The logic behind such move is to put pressure on UTG but as the size is big he does not worrie about MP going AI.
I prefer folding. It is not the right situation for defending.
