Poker Stars $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em - 5 players

Hero (SB): $53.13
BB: $119.82
UTG: $47.38
CO: $106.27
BTN: $50.00

Pre Flop: ($0.75) Hero is SB with T :diamond: T :club:
UTG raises to $1.50, 2 folds, Hero calls $1.25, 1 fold

Flop: ($3.50) 5 :diamond: 8 :diamond: 3  (2 players)
Hero bets $2.25, UTG raises to $6.17, Hero raises to $10.09, UTG raises to $18.01, Hero raises to $51.63 all in, UTG calls $27.87 all in

Turn: ($95.26) 4  (2 players - 2 are all in)

River: ($95.26) J  (2 players - 2 are all in)

Villain has 34%WTSD, 41% Ftcbet
20% fold to donk bet
he is not a maniac, but has high cbet > 60% and bets vs missed cbet alot

Reason for not 3betting preflpo is that he opens 30% from MP but i wanted a low flop in order to continue .. because he does not fold to 3bet (less than 40% ) and i cant protect my hand postflop

I have moved your hand to the hand discussion board, because its fits better there.

Maybe good that you explain what’s your plan on the flop, because I would always check to the raiser in a HU pot, but I’m a cash game fish.

Cheers,

He'd have to be some fish for me to think TT is good enough to 5bet the flop with unimproved.

How many hands do you have on him to think that all those stats you listed will be useful?

Well, if you have 1k hands on the guy and think he's going to play 76s/A8/99/KQdd or whatever this way then I can't fault you getting the chips in.

If villain opens wide 30% and do not like to fold (fold to 3b 40), then we can 3bet him depolarised and TT is a good hand to do that.
I do not like the donk on flop as he is not folding. Prefer xc.
It is a bit loose to stack off on flop.

If he's cbetting so much, what speaks against check/calling the flop?

As played I'd probably either fold right away on his raise, since he can have sets and better overpairs in his range, or call once and then give up on most turn cards. I believe he would rather call with worse and rarely bluffs in this spot. Most fish just play their cards..

x/c is by far the worst possible move
donk is not so good because we dont know if he raises for sure
x/r is the best move... but i didnt do it and leveled myself :|

the stat that would be useful is raise CBet and raise cbet IP to give you an idea of the amount of bluff

Why u think x/c is by far the worst possible move? Thinks u give too much chance for him to hit his hand that way?

Shipping over the 4bet is a mistake imo. Any hand that decides to reraise your flop 3bet even by a fish is usually crushing TT or at best you're flipping vs OC flush draw. Overall TT equity is going to be poor.

I'm not a fan of the 3bet sizing on flop either, what is this trying to achieve?

I also think its weird that you'd look at 30 RFI and 40% fold to 3bet and see that as a reason NOT to 3bet for value?

Agree that against the range villain goes all in on this flop whe are not doing that great.
I dont know how to handle well this spot also, since I would 3bet this hand pre against this villain.

If you miss the 3 bet pre, you should play passive and that's all. You have a hand that will win a small pot , but lose big one.

Wow. Pretty gutsy going all in for $50 with TT.

Against a fish who is opening 30% and folds less than 40% to 3bets, not 3betting TT preflop is a clear, and pretty big mistake imo.
We have significant equity advantage against his calling range (we have ~63-64%), also big edge in skill, so it's not a valid argument to "wait for a low flop to continue"...
