$0.05/$0.10 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 4 Players

SB: $10.55 (105.5 bb)
BB: $10 (100 bb)
CO: $5.99 (59.9 bb)
Hero (BTN): $11.17 (111.7 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with K 7
CO folds, Hero raises to $0.30, SB calls $0.25, BB folds

Flop: ($0.70) 7 8 9 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.42, SB calls $0.42

Turn: ($1.54) 7 (2 players)
SB bets $1.40, Hero calls $1.40

River: ($4.34) 5 (2 players)
SB bets $3.90, Hero folds

Villain is 23/14/AF2,0. Some sort of reg, I only have 82 hands on him.

Villains turn donk bet looks extremely strong because turn/river donks are really unbalanced/nuts in my experience in these stakes.

So its clear that villain has a 7 or a set (sets should raise otf here?) so he mainly has 7x hands. JT?

The hand that is most likely that comes to my mind is 67/78 that he didn't raise flop with.

On the river villain should not have many 6x hands, only 67 i think. maybe JTo that he tried to protect from flush by donking the turn?

Can I call river? Or is raising on the turn better?

This was really hard to fold for me, but i just dont really know how many 7x hands are in his range that i beat.

7T/7j etc. should not be in his sb calling range right?

I definitely would not raise the turn and folding is also not an option. OTR I cannot see many hands that you indeed beat. I think it is well played IMO.

The only think I would do different is bet a bit smaller from the button allowing me to open with a wider range at a cheaper price.. As played I like the sizing on flop

Villain is making big donks so this should sound some alarms.
I like it as played.

Interesting u guys talking A LOT about 7x hands, when theres actually just ONE seven free. He has other possibles holdings that are not blocked that hard, like TJ, 56...

Not only 7 bothers us, you have straight, sets that got fullhouses...

I'm thinking about villains 7x hands because that is really the only hand that we beat in his range (the way the hand played->he has strong range). So I'm thinking that does he have enough worse 7x so we can call.

Of course he can also have other holdings like JT etc. that beat us.

So we can not call because he doesn't have many combos of worse 7x but more JT/56 and full houses.

Thank you for your answers. =)

I got it. Exactly for having way few combos that u beat, its a good fold imo.
