Hey Guys,

pre range Villain: 22+, A2s+, K7s+, Q8s+, J8s+, T8s+, 98s, 87s, 76s, 65s, A6o+, K9o+, Q9o+, J9o+

Flop range Villain: bets Sets, 2pairs, overpairs, Qx, Jx, 99+, oesd, Flushdraws

on the Flop it might be better to just call instead of raising my plan was to raise/fold and x/f the turn when not A or 9

what do u guys think is he betting on the River? i need to be good 1 out of 3 times

would u call there on the River?

with kind Regards Toni

The problem is what you want to accomplice with your raise op de flop when the SB leads when the button is the pre-flop aggressor. I expect the SB could have a draw and some made hands, but a set isn’t too likely. I would always 3bet JJ and QQ for example pre-flop. So I expect he has a draw, Qx or 2 pair here. I don’t think these hands will ever fold on a raise. So calling would be better for sure.

As played your draw comes up on the river and it’s indeed likely he has a flush as well. Without any reads on his bet sizing or something it’s possible you’re splitting in best case. So a call would be close.

thx SDK for all your replies!

yeah the Flopraise was probably the bigger mistake and calling would be the better option, on the River it was a close spot for me.:f_drink:
