AA into Trips?

I think villain can donk mw with quite wide range. Ofc here villain doesn't have many draws so he could donk sets and pairs. I think you could bet turn when he checks. After villain checks turn and river his raise really looks like a bluff.. Why would he x river when turn went xx if he has a flush? Would he raise sets when flush completes? Would he raise lower flushes than A high? He really doesn't rep anything here. I think folding is not bad but I would call and see his bluff x)

We do not have many hands on villain. The donk means he has connected with the board or has a middle made hand.
We could bet turn after the flop raise.
As played, I do not like to call the raise for 80BB.

Hmm, i think after the turn went check check, he has not need to bet, because Hero has either bluffs on the river, or he improved on the river, and bets himself his bluffs and valuehands. So i think bet fold is ok. But i would bet the Turn also, and then check the river.

I would like to just call on the flop, i don't see that we can have many semi bluffs on that board. Perhaps that is why you checked the turn, because you have represented great strength on the flop but still been called? Personally after raising the flop I'd rather put the bet in on the turn and go for there.

I actually think it was played alright.

Flop: On the one hand, AA should be treated for what it is on a missed flop. A pair. On the other hand, a raise is clarifying the situation by either getting us position and initiative heads up or it doesn't. Our hand still has "value enough", so this isn't purely an "information raise". It is mostly a raise to gain control over the pot.

Turn: Now we can exercise that control. The turn card is not scary and we can bet. Or - we could check. This comes down to what we make of villains range.

River: Bet-fold small is the way to go.

I think you could have bet on the turn after making the raise on the flop. But I do like the fold on the river. With flushes and straights out there, I don't see your one pair winning. Good fold, nice hand.
