Hello everyone! Decided to start a blog for the bankroll challenge, also for trying to keep me motivated, get some opinions, i think a blog will help a lot! Get ready for a wall of text, hope you like reading and dont mind my far from perfect english skills: First a little background: I'm Brazilian (Not the usual CRAZY Brazilian you find on the interwebs lol), got my free bankroll from Pokerstrategy on Mansion Poker on 2009. Got busted playing small stakes strategy and have been absent since then. On december last year (2015) i decided to make a small deposit on Pokerstars ($20, got a $10 christmas bonus) and gave it another go. I've been reading A LOT, watching A LOT of videos, i could say im almost obsessive with getting good lol. I have a fulltime job, but recently got kicked from a 10 year old relationship (One of the reasons I came back to poker, trying to keep my brain busy, i was pretty depressed) so i do have some time to play at night and weekends. The amount of books and videos nowadays is kind of overwhelming, so im trying to keep focused on what matters for the microstakes. Back in 2009, i dont remember seeing this amount of material on crushing the micros, so i think at that time i ended up filling my head with stuff that does not actually apply for the micro limits. My intention at first was to play SNG/SNG-MTT ($0.50 9-man and $0.25 45-man), but it didn't went so well after a few hundred games. I did play some cash games (NL2) in between and was winning there, so i changed my plans and became a NL2 fish. :f_p: So there i was, a big fish fighting to break even, with a graph that looked like a seismic monitor during a heavy earthquake: :f_biggrin: After watching LemOn36 and w34z3l videos, and then rewatching all over again, my game improved by a lot! (Thank you so much guys!) Next step is to re-re-watch making some notes along the way &diams; Probably the thing that changed my game from trying to break even to winning, was learning to fold. Who would guess, making profit by folding, sounds weird for a newbie, but makes complete sense once you realize the importance of folding on the right spots for your win rate. Studying showed its first results: Have been jumping from Fullring Regular/Zoom NL2 to 6-Max Regular/Zoom NL2. I think i like the 6-Max Zoom better, but im still not sure, because its so hard to keep stats on a ever changing 1000 players pool. Also sometimes the regular tables are SO MUCH softer... I really dont know where to settle, but have been playing 6-max zoom almost exclusively lately. At this point i have 15k played hands in total and this is how my graph looks like today. I have noticed that about 3k hands ago i had another big improve on my game, and i think that has to do with even better folds, calling less raises preflop, a better understanding of continuation bets and board textures. Again, the graph proves my point by showing a MUCH less irregular winrate at about 12k onwards: My current BR is $76.45. Hoping to try a few shots at NL5 when between $100-120. I will be trying the BR Challenge shooting for $1,000 wish me luck! :f_drink: Ill be posting week by week results along maybe some interesting hands and stuff! Thanks for reading! :f_tongue:

Hey man, ill be back! Hehe Ive been messing around so much thats even hard for me to create a report lol Have been playing a lot on different BR´s too.

Heres my week report:

On Pokerstars i played mostly $1 45-man regulars, some $.50 9-man turbos, on the end of the week i had $114, got some good results on the 45-mans, not so much on the 9-man turbos. I tried the $.50 45-man Turbos but i did much better on the $1 regulars. Right now my BR is $104.44.

On netbet ive been playing some $1 9-man turbos quite successfully, along with some mtt's. Lost some money on the speed tables.. I started with a $50 + 20 Bonus, and right now i have something around $85.

On partypoker ive also tilted away some money on the speed tables (lol), but have been doing ok on mtt´s and got it back :f_thumbsup: Started with $50 and have around $54 :f_biggrin:

A bad beat that busts me out of a sng or mtt is easier on me than getting stacked on cash tables. And on speed tables things happen so fast. Anyway, some profit on all accounts, the study continues!
