River: ($14.41, 2 players) K♦

Villain seems like a semi-reg. No reads on him, but a gap between VPIP and PFR

I was not sure what do make out of his line. On the turn a bigger sizing would have been probably better to get stacks in by the river.

Now, overall his line seems weird, but I decided to call because he could play some 9x, random stuff and maybe JTs this way.

And why don't we re-raise on flop?

I think you played this ok. I'm calling river here.

Maybe because we don't have to protect our hand and we hope that villain will keep on barreling OTT. If we re-raise he might fold some of his hands or shut down on later streets.

Villain is making an over 4x raise on flop... why wait he is interested in the pot... And there are hands that can scare him off.

That is true. Re-raising is totally fine. What I wrote in my earlier post was my guess about hero's thought process. Just calling is not terrible imo.

Just calling is fine. I want to exploit villains big raise, tho.

You could get stacks in otf as clubs might scare villain.

Calling is also fine if you know that villain is capable of bluffing on this board.
