EP JTs turning SP on the river vs small bets

1. Why you skip the flop cbet? This is a flop that hits you first and you should bet 100%.
2. What is the reason for the FPS on river?

You should be cbetting on the flop. OTR there is no need to raise. Villain still has Ax hands in his range, that 2h changes nothing and villain might be able to bluffcatch you. You overplayed this one.

Flop I'd cbet even though we don't have good backdoor equity. There should be enough fold equity on this board in position and there's no need to think about balancing the ranges on nl10. River I understand that he looks weak but you can't represent anything at all and I expect any half-decent reg to bluffcatch you.

We open from UTG. This flop hits our range way better than it hits villain's. We should be cbetting this 100% of the time even if we hold T3o. River raise is indeed not good, we rep nothing and any Jx hand or better should catch our bluff.

Not cbetting this board is losing money.
In fact no real hands are raising there...

You simply don't have anything good here. Ax hands you would have cbet and better than one pair hands you would have cbetted or raised on the turn. Only hand you are repping is 22 and you really should fold that on the turn. Your bluff looks exactly like a bluff, villain will see right through it and call

Remember to sometimes check your stronger holdings too. If I was your villain I can value bet you really thin when you dont cbet on these flops.

You miss value and you don't protect your hand. You don't have to check your "weaker" holding on this kind of flop so often, cbetting has good fold equity and is often auto-profit. And as marsa08 said, if you check your weak hands often you should check monsters sometimes too because if you don't, you are easy to exploit..

BTW: You open from UTG, you don't have A2-A9 in your range here.

We should cbet more Ax here plus our bluffs.
Note: some players open all Ads from get and skip the SCs ...
