Hey lemon,
i have a question for you,
i just registred to a fishy room with 35% players per hand.
what is the best play there.
most of them cant beat nl2 at pokerstars, they just limp limp and limp, and if 3limps the 4ones raise to 2bb lol. so how to beat those players who call always preflop.
and postflop they call 1bb 2bb or pot , normal play lol, sowhat is the best play and i dont wanna scares them too much, wanna stay a little invisible.

It's still poker but general advice is play ABC Starter Course style, bet large for value, don't bluff past flop, and against the worst ones straight up change your bet sizing according to your hands strength and their range on specific boards, ignoring what you represent. I assume on a smaller site you can't play a lot of tables because of software limitations too - so make sure you use the extra time you have to take notes and exploit the big mistakes and blatant tells these guys with inevitably have and deviate from ABC tight play when you get these reads.

gonna do like u said.
i have 600 dollars and there i can play nl20 with 30BI very relaxing))

i really got tired from pokerstars with their new promition from the stakes of nl10.
played around 10K NL10 for 14bb i was good, but from the start of the promotion i lost about 5BI.
all changed, all players from nl16 TO NL1000 Are playing nl10, i just take the best option and stoped nl10 on pokerstars til the end of this promotion.

What do you think about that:
i already make my maths
gonna deposit 200$, play 10BI Rule.
if i won 10BI i go to the next round.
If i lose 5BI from 10BI on a limit i drop down with 10BI.
I feel that is the one i need, gonna play only 1table and try to double my 200$ to at least 1000$ before a withdrawl.

Well what I think of that you can see here where I tried Tankroll challenge which was even more aggressive :]

Personally, I'd go with non-strict bankroll management, when you're up and you're beating everybody and feel confident then you need 15-20BI, and can see how 1BI shots can be made even lower. But when you run bad, are playing B/C game going to 50-100 Buy ins is a better idea

And yeah I'm back into it boys!

Spoiler

I've had like 3 separate health issues one after another (long story short =>long cold=>bad diarrhea=>fucked up my back at the gym to an extent where I couldn't even walk) . My approach is to drop down and keep playing through it even when I feel bad.

But I'm curious what you guys do - because I had one of the the worst runs at the same time, felt bad and couldn't even go to the gym or outside at the same time and started hating poker for a while, started playign broodwar (awesome game) .... My friend who plays highstakes just doesn't play when ill, and I guess that might be the preferred option next time.

Actually I feel like I've been in this spot multiple times, this ill stuff just seems to be my Achilles heel :)

Also yesterday I went to see my first ever stand up
7 people, random topics, I suggested two (refugees and reactions to them, how internet and smartphones changed dating). A lot of the comedians were outright shit, got drunk and went on random random BS unfunny rants.
But this image from me:
Was handled impressively by the best guy they had. I didn't even expect them to pick it as it's such a big topic in Czech Republic, and they'd surely piss off large part of the audience whatever they said. I.E. perfect comedy material

He basically said "Imagine you're in 1900s Austria, and there's a baby drowning in a lake with a mother on the shore. You're the only one who can save it but you say "Sorry, Mrs Hitler..." and then he mentioned we're all human and anyone would not say no to helping others in need in a serious with humourAnd then then when most of the audience gave him applause he went on to say "Seems like there's about 2/3rds of good people in here" when he told is he'd probably hate 2/3rd of us if he'd know us personally at the start of the stand up but that might change if we cheer and clap.

I don't even know how to properly play IN THE BB OOPso there's no way I can have an opinion on the matter one way or the other, but I was impressed by a guy not being afraid to alienate part of the audience (he did, some people switched off completely) give his polarized opinion and make us laugh in the process.

Anyways looking forward for you guys to come on monday to Poker Force Padawan live coaching - where I'll show how I work on poker, and will also ask the listeners to chip in their ideas on how they work on their game.

Hello, LemOn!
I saw your coach session yesterday and noticed that you use Equilab during play on PokerStars. I should caution you because this software is prohibited by Stars to use while client is running.
Or may be you know something? _cool:

Thank you for the few usefull thoughts I've got after this session!_thumbsup:

Hey, Thanks for the tip!
And don't tell anyone, just like with Wrestling the live natureof the coachings seems real but I pre-record my sessions so I can point you guys towards spots coming up, pause for questions and also pull Equilab at will ;)

Hey LemOn36,

i was out of poker for days now, doing other stuffs than poker.
it was a bad idea from me the tankroll of 10BI.
Now that i cashout, i have 500$.
its gonna be 40BI For NL10 + 2.5BI SHOT TO NL20. Like i have 2.5BI more, gonna be 5BI SHOT TO NL20.
2.5BI STOPLOSS BY DAY SESSION.
5BI STOPWIN BY DAY SESSION.
I Stop session anytime between -2.5BI And 5BI.
Playing Around 15 Days Session in a Month.

it takes me about 2H to make all my maths. how much i need to withdraw in a month, what is my expected winrate, the case if i'm on a downswing, the fact that i can get 200$ and add it to my bankroll to my account in 10Days or 1Month, the fact that i can not receive those additionnal 200$, and others stuffs i forgot.

i'm very motivate now that i fixed my script, my moral got a big up after i finished. it was doing i think in 10Steps, to responds and be in harmony with my 10Needs or 8.. Dont remember.

Wasaap guys

Loads of work on Padawan, ranges, then hit a downer right after I changed things around which kinda tipped off my confidence in my new approach towards the game and started spewing. Then my computer just decided to comatose rigth before coaching and I had to spend some 30 hours re-installing, lost all data, hud etc.

And as always it was a blessing in disguise
- I realized that I studied loads, worked on my mental game, but the stuff around suffered greatly and my nutrition/excercise/sleep got greatly tipped off balance.
I became negative too much with watching the news, even argued with my own mother at one point, when GF asked me what happy thoughts I had that day I said "none". She told me that might suck or that way more likely I have a really short memory and invited me to see Deadpool :P

So once more, the time has come to focus on non on-table poker development. I doubt I'll ever be able to work on everything at once, and when I work on my game hard work on stuff around it suffers and vice versa. So I went to buy healthy food right away, went to the gym, got 10 hours of sleep, started listening to motivational guys like Paul McKenna, Corey Wayne to basically positively consciously brainwash myself for a while. And I am also building my HUD from scratch, and realized how much my old one had missing (you'll see that bad boy on Monday) and I'm gonna have sweat sessions with my coach/friend to regain confidence in my improved approach towards poker.

It's kind of a shame that I always have to see really strong signals or even have my computer die on me in a very frustrating fashion to e.g. change my long overdue HUD but I guess that's just the way I am, what I'm good at and only thing I have to work on is to find the motivation and put in the work even when disasters aren't happening.
