Poker Stars, $0.05/$0.10 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 4 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

Hero (SB): $10.05 (100.5 bb)
BB: $10 (100 bb)
CO: $10 (100 bb)
BTN: $9.95 (99.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A T
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.30, BB raises to $0.90, Hero raises to $2.40, BB calls $1.50

Flop: ($4.80) A 7 K (2 players)
Hero checks, BB checks

Turn: ($4.80) J (2 players)
Hero bets $1.83, BB calls $1.83

River: ($8.46) T (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $3.50, Hero folds

BB:
23/20 WTSD 17 AF 3
H 120

preflop:
4bet bluff with blockers

flop:
hard situation - Top pair with bottom kicker - I decided to play this hand passivly - check/call -> decide turn

turn:

When villian not betting I did this --- but I think its not good -> with AT we have here not more than one street of value and we can take this on the river or waiting for his bluff

river:

T on the river killing action -> I got second pair but connected board Its not good for me. When BB betting so small "please call me bet" I think he always have her Q = fold

Pre flop and flop ok.
I think I would bet bigger OTT.
OTR it is difficult. Since we skipped flop cbet and bet turn so small our river check will look extremely weak and villain could easily bluff us. But I'm not sure how many weaker hands he has in his call 4bet range. Maybe I would have bet this river small myself. As played if we think villain could call your 4bet with KT,KJ,JT I think you can call.

I don't see a huge reason to 4bet bluff with this hand against a relatively tight villain. It is not that his stats indicate that he is massively 3betting. We dont have sample enough to go for a detailed reason that he is 3betting way too much from the BB against SB.

As played, I think he has AK-AQ, AA-JJ a decent amount of time in his range. on flop weighted to AK, AA-QQ. The turn bet could be even considered as a bluff as well. Then river is easy fold against his tight 4bet call range and delayed c-bet call range...

We should have a default 4b bluff range vs unknown too.
It is ok preflop.
If betting turn, I prefer to make it small.

It's only a small thing but:
Isn't the 4bet-size not a little bit too big?

I think i am going to cbet this board 100% of the time and reevaluate the turn. It hits your perceived range so hard.

I agree with folding preflop in the forefront. Four-betting AT in this spot by default means we assume our standard opponent being loose in 3betting his BB. Plus we assume he can fold to 4bets a lot. Since both points are not very clear I rather wait for more reliable stats and just fold pre. No need to get into spots like Hero.

As played: Questionable if we ever have a valuebet OTT. Four-bet callingranges should be rather tight in this spot and I guess we run into AJs/AQ type of hands a lot, JJ not excluded. Next question then would be: Can hero profitably check/call the turn? Yes, but only yes IF: Villain is having hands weaker than ours in our range that he is a) bluffing, or b) value-betting thinly (like A5s... but that would be quite crazy to assume). The only hand that is weaker than ours which MAYBE calls a small bet is QQ ---> I don't know vs. what Hero is valuebetting.

What's your pick on this guys?

No need to think villain is folding a lot. We should start from somewhere...

It is too thin. No need to bet there.

Are we then check calling? Checking 2 streets and folding to a bet seems too weak to me with top pair and if we are going to x/c I prefer betting myself.

Preflop hands like A2-A9s play way better as 4b bluffs this would be a default fold for me.

flop & turn are well played as well as the river. KQs and AQs are probably decent part of his 3b call 4b range and especcialy KQ he can rep well on the river and hard to see him having much bluffs on this runout.
