double2's Emergency Room: Hands under Review Hi guys, as most of you know I've been a coach here at PokerStrategy for a while. You may know me best from my series 10 Tips to Get Out of the Micros. I'm a medical doctor, resident in Neurology. In my free time somewhat I managed to get myself to a winner player in 200NL Zoom, which is the field I've been playing the last 18 months or so. Currently I'm on a forced vacation until October due to legal changes in Portugal Poker laws. What exactly is the ER: Hands under Review? It will be composed of • monthly coachings • monthly video • + direct feedback in this thread. The stuff we'll be discussing will depend immensely on you guys. We can potentially talk about pretty much everything we want poker related: range construction, reading into villains ranges, betsizing, raising cbets, etc. Why are you doing this? I like PokerStrategy, I've been around for a long time and I am definitely one of the "in-house" successes. I like discussing poker and everyone that knows me well (mostly portuguese community) knows that I like to help people improve. So this is your chance. Official topic where you can ask away and I'll answer everytime, it's up to you. For who is it? I can definitely help any player that plays up to 100NL, so everyone is invited to actively participate in this thread. Preferably it would be best if hands posted are at least from 10NL, since I get worried that it's not a good idea talking about 4bet/fold ranges to a 2NL beginner player Very nice. How are we gonna do this? Feel free to post any questions or hands in this thread. From specific hand questions to range discussion to theoretical questions. Remember that the more effort you put in your question the more effort I will put in my answer. Also, leave suggestions for future coachings or videos. So, the ball is in your court, let's do this!

ANNOUNCEMENT

I'm sorry to say that my work as a coach for PokerStrategy has ended.
I am entering a new project that is very time consuming (plus the fact that I am a part time player) and I simply had to decide this way. The same goes for Private Coaching which I will not be offering anymore.

My time at PokerStrategy was very nice, 14k+ posts are a lot of posts and I owe PokerStrategy a fair deal of my success, hopefully I gave something back as well.
