From these positions villain will have decent amount of bluffs so betting flop vs missed is not terrible but still you could xb flop. I think it might be better.

I don't know about the flop bet, but the turn bet is interesting. I am pretty sure he doesn't have an overpair. It looks like he either has at most a gutshot or a made straight with :Jx: or :6x:. Thus the pot-sized bet cannot be right. If he folds, he folds to gentler bets.

Once in a while you will take it but most of the time you will invest money that you cannot win back.

Are you saying turn is not a spot to bluff? Why not? Because the board is scary and he checked twice?
