5000 starting stack.
Blinds are low at 50/100

Me and the villain have more or less a starting stack.
I'm utg with KdKh, first to act I bet 325 all fold to the CO who raises to about 850. button, sb and bb all fold.
I call the 850 thinking he's a very weak player so I want all his chips; flop comes all low cards. I check the flop he bets about 1000 I raise him to 3000, he shoves I call.
He turns over AKos and rivers an Ace taking me out. Did I play badly by not re-raising pre-flop or did he just get a lucky river.

I have moved this hand to our hand discussion section, because it’s fits better here.

Against a weaker player I don’t think you played it bad. You can even consider to check/call the flop and check/shove the turn. If you raise the flop I would go all-inn, because you are committed anyway with a raise. In the end it makes not too much different, because he played his AK pretty bad on the flop and he isn’t folding this hand pre-flop as well if you had shoved there.

he must be a really bad player because your c/r on the flop looks strong but looks even stronger as you didnt go allin and just left yourself about 1000 behind.
I would c/c flop, and give him more rope to hang himself
