[Closed] Battle of the Donkeys February 22nd: Private Tournament #1

Wow.. the Spanish had a huge amount of people playing in their community teams (41 people!!) which combined with 78 people playing in teams made for 119 Spanish players against our 54.

The Mod Squad and Donkey Patrol crushed the Average finish ranking, while Team SoyCD also managed to grab a silver medal

Mod Squad also managed a silver for money won and were the team with the most ITM players (3)

So congrats there

In two weeks we will have to take it up a notch. Let's go get'em boys.

kind of hard to win being that outnumbered, however It will make our upcoming victory look better

11 people from the English teams didn't play this round (3from the "we min raise you!"). That'ss kindof a big handicap for the community since we're already weak when it comes to the number of players.
So please, try and make it to the game!!!

I think a lot of Spanish people played due to it being a private tournament - boosting their community team numbers by crazy amounts. Next week it should be a bit more balanced again. It is of course a huge handicap when they have MORE than double our numbers.

I think taking that into account we actually did quite well and had e.g. Chiller won with his QQ vs 44 with 12 people left- things might have looked a lot differently.

After all we had 16 of the last 43 (so 16 vs 27) when it came close to the bubble, and decent chances for good representation at the final table. We just started running really really bad right afterwards

I think there are still decent chances of us winning this - since our teams just need to win a few medals and we are back in the race.
