SB: $5.07 (101.4 bb)
BB: $12.01 (240.2 bb)
UTG: $4.18 (83.6 bb)
MP: $5 (100 bb)
Hero (CO): $7.49 (149.8 bb)
BTN: $8.70 (174 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with K♥: K♠:
UTG folds, MP raises to $0.15, Hero raises to $0.40, 3 folds, MP raises to $1.15, Hero???

I often wonder what to do with AA or KK preflop facing a 4bet.
#1 I wanna 5bet jam but I sometimes think I won't get action from many weaker hands.
#2 On the other hand, I sometimes wanna to play it tricky and just call with intentions of inducing aggresion and stacking off on any Flop. The problem is that on some Flops I won't get action from weaker hands.

What do you guys think in general? Is it highly villain-dependant?

I do not like to call. There will come a Axx board and you will not know what to do. Jam or 5B is up to your personal style.

I would go for the 5bet jam, because with every sizing you will be committed anyway for $5 effective.

It's always better to win a small pot than to lose a big one. OTF most of the time you will be a huge underdog or slight favorite. The power of these hands is preflop. They lose value postflop.

We cannot call nor fold. Agree with above; 5bet or jam

Jam!

That said, I always get utterly confused when someone calls my 4-bet for 20%+ of stacks.
