And does he always open for 2x?

I guess it an easy fold preflop - I was trapped to many times in this shitty situation. That is how yoo probably will be busted. Just note - villain opened min raise - you squeezed and villain after open only 2bb now 4b, he did not shove bcs he do not want to push you off, I guess you are at least vs QQ, but most of the time KK+ => fold preflop.
The plan was to get easy money, by 3betting your opponent - who has exploitive fold to 3b, but now, your villain tells you - his has unlimitted range. Fold.

Imo it is either fold or shove. Pushing all-in might not be that terrible on the long run but I believe it is slightly -EV against this guy. I would fold here. Maybe I would consider pushing if the hand was suited.
