Setting mining, but have I gone wrong?

Party, $0.05/$0.10 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

SB: $22.12 (221.2 bb)
BB: $13.45 (134.5 bb)
UTG: $10 (100 bb)
MP: $10 (100 bb)
CO: $20.26 (202.6 bb)
Hero (BTN): $15.77 (157.7 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with 8♥: 8♣:
UTG folds, MP raises to $0.30, CO calls $0.30, Hero calls $0.30, 2 folds

Flop: ($1.05) 8♦: 4♠: 3♥: (3 players)
MP checks, CO checks, Hero bets $0.50, MP raises to $1.50, CO folds, Hero raises to $4.50, MP calls $3

I put him on some over cards, maybe AK AX maybe an over pocket pair.

Spoiler

Turn: ($10.05) A♣: (2 players)
MP checks, Hero bets $7.16, MP calls $5.20 and is all-in

Was hoping he maybe hit and ace, or that he was going to fold after the check.

River: ($20.45) T♠: (2 players, 1 is all-in)

Results: $20.45 pot ($1 rake)
Final Board: 8♦: 4♠: 3♥: A♣: T♠:
MP showed A♥: A♠: and won $19.45 ($9.45 net)
Hero showed 8♥: 8♣: and lost (-$10 net)

Then I run into slow played AA :(

Nothing wrong. When you set mine you try to get the money in. You can do it on flop or as you did on turn.

I guess it is correct play. Also, XR on the dry flop most of the time is set, may be OESD. U can't never get out of the spots like this. Yet another cooler. If you will learn how to fold 2d set in 3B on the flop pot correctly, please, tell me. But I guess you are committed.

Check raise on dry board had been happening a lot on that table as a few pots that had gone all the way through had shown that the original bettor was just betting with over cards trying to steal the pot so more people had been raising to stop it.

Thanks for feedback everyone.
