55 open UTG, facing 3bet

BTN: 17/9/5,3

Preflop: The Open is not very conventional, but i wanted to know if its just wrong or if you can open 55 there. Also i wanted to know how big my stack would have to be there to call the 3bet ( maybe >60 000), or should i not ever call this 3 bet there.

I don’t think it’s bad to open 55 here or you play with a lot of passive or aggressive players behind you. As played you can only call for set value and based on the call 20 rule the effective stack should be at least 60k and that isn’t the case here. So folding is fine.

SDK don't u think that we should take in account tornament stage, position and oppo tendency other then the 20 rule?
Btw I agree here, folding is fine.. :)
