SB: $22.72 (45.4 bb)
BB: $50 (100 bb)
MP: $63.05 (126.1 bb)
CO: $178.28 (356.6 bb)
Hero (BTN): $117.47 (234.9 bb)
Villain was 83/16/10 but very tight preflop, RFI 6/13/11/26/29 after 187 hands.
I had two notes; 1) slow played top two on flop and xR min turn, 2) semibluffdonks small when turn improves draw
Preflop: Hero is BTN with A♠: 7♠:
MP raises to $1, CO folds, Hero calls $1, SB calls $0.75, BB folds
Blinds were loose and raise was small so I planned playing family pot in position.
Flop: ($3.50) A♣: 2♦: 8♦: (3 players)
SB checks, MP checks, Hero bets $1.75, SB folds, MP calls $1.75
Villain cbets flop 58%. Once checked to me I made a half pot value bet to charge draws mainly from SB. When SB folded and MP called I put him mostly on PPs, some very few fds or rarely slow played monster.
Turn: ($7) A♥: (2 players)
MP checks, Hero checks
I thought he's not calling three streets with PP and he didn't had many fd's, so I planned checking behind and either calling induced river bluff or value betting small to charge PP's. Also he had history of xRing monsters on turn and my hand isn't very happy if faced with xR.
River: ($7) 3♦: (2 players)
MP bets $7, Hero folds
I was confused about his pot sized bet. If he thinks I just bluffed flop and gave up turn, he doesn't need to bet big and he has history of bluffing small. If he is value betting, I am way behind. I couldn't think of a hand he would bluff this way. Perhaps he could play AK or AQ or mayby KQ of diamonds this way? Anyway, I ended up folding. What hands would you put him? Bluff or value bet?
Thanks for the comments.
