Ended second again Can't complain but I lost alot of hands at the FT. Considering the fact the FT was full of regs, I didn't have the feeling they were better than me one bit.

To top it off last night i became 11th in the mini Saturday KO. I know i cant complain with my run lately but when you end up so close to 7k, it hurts...

So guys, I have some explaining to do, this is going to be a long one!

I've had one heck of a ride the last couple of months, being in a huge upswing. I started this blog on July 5th, telling you guys I had a starting bankroll of 180$ and I was trying to get to 1k. One month later I was around halfway there, playing SNG's, some micro MTT's and some cash on Unibet. When I was halfway the challenge, I decided to fully commit my time to play MTT's again, and what a decision that was. I FT'd one tourney after another, completing my first bankroll challenge like instantly. Started a second one to go from 1,5k$ to 7,5k$. I was halfway through the challenge when suddenly my blog was closed, why?

It was a normal Sunday evening but due to back issues I'm not working for a couple of weeks, which allowed me to play the evenings on Sunday. Sunday funday right? Hopped into the Mini Million, the Sunday Storm, the 33$ Booty Builder, … Had an awesome session, ran deep in the Mini Million, cashed a bunch of other tournaments but who knew the best what yet to come as I, at around 7 o'clock am, finished SECOND in the SUNDAY STORM. Finishing my second bankroll challenge by more than 15k$.

I then decided to get my blog closed because I wanted to take a moment off the social aspect of poker to think about what I was going to do. Having such a bankroll opens perspectives. Should I go pro/semi-pro? Should I move up in stakes? Should I withdraw the whole thing to use it as lifesavings and pretend it never happened? Should I tell everyone? Lots of questions which I wanted to get an answer to first.

Anyway, that being cleared up, I decided to take up blogging again. I'm going to approach it a little bit differently now. I'm not going to post on a daily basis but only when I have something useful to say. I'm not going to continuously use this blog as a place to whine about the badrun or brag about the goodrun. It might come by every once in a blue moon but the last few pages of my blog were nothing but whining and bragging so enough of that.

Concerning what and how? I'm NOT going pro nor semi pro. I withdrew a bunch of the winnings and I'm just going to continue, being it with a bigger roll, on the stakes I'm usually playing, shotting a little bit higher every once in a while. Poker is a hobby and will probably remain a hobby forever.

So finally i can say congrats , Well done Sir , did enjoy to follow your FT updates every day so i do hope you continue with that

Interesting hand I played yesterday in the 22$ Mini-thrill on Pokerstars. What does villain have here? Think about it and explain to me why he has the hand you think he has.

Thanks mate! Well, I did play some final tables since the Storm one, but always ended up in the lower regions of it, which is a pitty:

• 10/06/2016: 6th in the 4$ Bounty Builder for ~275$
• 10/06/2016: 8th in the smaller Big 11 for 180$
• 10/09/2016: 8th in the 4.4$ 2.5k GTD for 68$
• 10/10/2016: 7th in the 7.5$ PSKO 10k GTD for ~280$

After that I bricked about every tourney putting me down a couple of hundred bucks. Yesterday had a silver lining though as I reached another final table in the Hot 1.1, finishing 5th for 130$.

As yesterday probably was the last Sunday I could play for quite a while, I was contemplating about satteliting myself in. I decided in the end not to do it so no Milly score for me.

Last week's update

One can't complain the next couple of months after you runnered up the Sunday Storm for 19k$ apparently. I'm happy to believe that but other deep runs that end in poor fashion still hurt, no matter what you shipped lately. You want to be the best in every single game you play.
Variance is catching up now. The first couple of days after my big score I ran pretty good, even getting some final tables. Those final tables didn't go as planned but still, if you can get 4 finals in 3 days, you're not running bad. After those couple of days though, things have gone downhill. Couldn't get a stack anywhere. I've lost a decent size of my roll but nothing to be worried about. Standard variance is hitting me now. I'm overrolled for the games I'm playing and even though it's a good thing to practice tight bankrollmanagement, every once in a while, I feel like I'm losing value. Big 55 often is great value and I definately beat that game, but imo my bankroll isn't sufficient enough to play that one (even with 150BI+).

I'm still at home from work with a back issue but this is the last week. I'm pretty stoked to be able to get back to work and pick up my usual schedule again, although being a "poker pro" for a few weeks have been good to me moneywise I will need to think through how I will put in a decent amount of volume while working 36hr+ a week but I'm going to figure that out the next couple of days. Next to that, this week will be all about grinding and playing as much slow MTT's as possible now that I still have the chance.

To conclude, Melanie Weisner, in my humblest of opinions probably one of the hottest female poker players alive!

So I had 10k left which was 4bb, managed to double with AT vs 44 and picked up the blnids a couple of times, got up to 49k which was around 12bb, then got AQ in vs AT and QT (AT was the same dude with the A7 and the AA) and we had to split because the board ran in a flush.
Then I got QQ in vs 88 and the lad makes quads.
