Hi,

If it's okay I'd like to ask a hand I played on PokerSnowie. The hand number is 38001087.

If there is a better place to ask such specific questions about the AI let me know.

If you are able to look up the hand, you will see that Snowie suggests to make a large 2x pot raise on the river with about 1 part value and 2 parts bluff, and says it has and EV of 0, however the opponent should call this raise according to Snowie 87% of the time.

Disregarding the human aspect of such a hand, why doesn't Snowie see that this is clearly -EV given the ranges that it itself predicts?

could you please explain step by step how did you get to this screenshot on PokerSnowie? It seems you edited a scenario, but for some reason Hero has $0.01 on the table, which makes no sense, as it's not an allowed move and there is no way on PokerSnowie to build such a position. Has been the position edited in some other ways?

Obvioulsy it's a FOLD and PokerSnowie confirms it.

Let us know and we will investigate further.

Hi,

It's actually from a real cash game that I played, I just copied it to scenario to edit the name of the players for privacy. Perhaps, something went wrong when it was imported.

Update: I just checked the log file, 888poker client probably got messed up and printed it wrong. However, it would be great if PokerSnowie could detect such error.

Update 2: According to the log, it's actually a "dead blind", so not really an error by 888 poker client.

Hi,

Hero has $0.01 chips on the table, while his move is listed as FOLD. Something went definitely wrong :-)

If you edit the scenario from scratch, you'll see that PokerSnowie says it's a 100% FOLD.

Hi, I updated the post above, it's actually a dead blind. So the log was actually correct and PokerSnowie doesn't know how to handle it.

that's right, PokerSnowie does not handle dead blinds, extra blinds and ante.

Hmm I thought that would save everyone time, but I guess there's a different point to having hand numbers other than the purpose of identifying one hand from another hand. Any idea what that might be?

Looks like there's no copy and paste functionality here either so I'll just write it out.

Blinds are 50/100

CO Raises to 225 with Td9h

BB calls with Tc8h.

Flop is 5c6h7h

BB bets 250; call.

Turn is Ks

Check, check.

River is 4h

BB bets 250.

Now Snowie suggests to raise 2x pot and as I reasoned before the ranges and overall percentages don't make sense, as per below.

I've tried to do some calculations and do some out of the box thinking as to how this can be justified in the long run, but it doesn't work. If you run this on a sophisticated GTO software you will get results that make far more sense than this, which just looks to burn money with the overbluffing vs a range that doesn't fold.

Could someone please explain this to me because I'm thinking about looking for a refund on this product since it doesn't look to actually work.

Hi, I'm wondering if the new AI update has already been released? If not, do you have any idea when it will come? If yes, has Snowie improved a lot at shallower stacked HU play? What have been / will be the areas of improvement for shallower HU?

I have installed the preflop advisor on my S5 Android phone.
Regardless of the scenario, when I click on the "view preflop advice" button the "import calender dialog" opens up

at the moment we are not aware of any issue like that on our preflop app an we just tested on our local devices, and it seems OK.

well, it happens on mine. I have removed and reinstalled the app. To no avail,
Apperantly it collides with the "Business Calendar" tool I have on my phone

It is pretty clear that this collision occurs. I removed the calendar app and the Snowie App works fine. I reinstalled the calendar App and Snowie asks to import a calendar file.

can you do anything about this??.

I'd hate to have to change my default calendar tool because of Snowie.

I paid for both of them BTW. For the Snowie subscription and my calendar

if you refer the mobile app, this app is for free as you know, therefore I guess you meant that you paid the PokerSnowie subscription (for Windows).

Anyway, if you send to support@pokersnowie.com some more details about this problem, like for example your precise Android version and the calendar program name, we could try to look into it, but we can't guarantee to be able to fix it, as this seems the only instance of it we heard so far.

Hello, snowie gives me slightly different range suggestions for exact the same situation on each blind-level. Why is that?
