How would you have played this spot? As I am quite unsure and think my line was incorrect, leaning towards check/shove but that might be more due to results orientated thinking rather than sound logic.

I'm not sure if I like the cold 4bet with JJ against guys in these positions. Usually UTG should open tight and anyone 3betting him should do it tight. We really don't have big enough sample from villains to base decisions on that so I would prefer calling to setmine here.

As played, I think you should fold on the flop. You are very often way behind villains range.
OTT you get a very good price but I don't see how you could possibly win here. Even villains bluffs beat you.

I agree with la55i. Just calling pf to setmine would be ok. On the flop I think I might have called the cbet, depends on his cbet stats and aggressiveness. The turn is just a fold.

I'd fold pre flop. Even if I was cut off with JJ I don't 3 bet against UTG.

Calling solely to set mine doesn't seem like a very good idea. If we think our hand is toast preflop we should just be folding. Our position couldn't be worse in this spot and UTG is still to act. If we think our hand is purely a setmine i don't like calling pre.

vs this kind of guy I would never ever slowroll preflop - to me shove is better just bcs we are oop. The way it is played I don't think you have an edge vs villain on postflop - it is 4 b pot with the worst ever runout with 2 overs A,K.

Guys, villain has shown some aggression preflop, even forthe small sample.
If we just call, we will invite the UTG and I do not think we will feel confident mw. We will lose ground on Axx, Kxx, Qxx boards. And when vs 2 players, the possibility that one of them got there is higher.
I like the 4b preflop.
We should cbet this flop.

This seems to be a tricky spot because we get so many different opinions.

I still think that 4betting is not that good idea. Against these positions we usually are crushed and probably don't have huge FE with our 4bet. Also playing postflop wouldn't be easy. I disagree with Nitrol about cbetting as played. Villain hits that king very often and I don't think it is worth investing third of our remaining stack just to see whether villain folds. Ofc it would be good to run some calculations to check that but my gut tells me it is not good.

I also disagree with shoving there. We are behind every time we are called and CO should 3bet UTG quite tight so not sure if both of them will fold enough for us to make autoprofit.

Imo the best line is call to setmine or fold. The fact that just calling invites UTG to call too is not a problem in my opinion, if our goal is just to hit a set.

I agree with just calling preflop, even though the 3bettor seems quite aggressive, but not a big sample. Calling the flop is the worst option since we only have so little left behind after that. I would fold in most cases, but I would certainly shove before calling this flop, if we think the villain could have a big range here why would we ever call flop?

I don't think this is a tricky spot at all, I mean you're 4betting the CO because he looks aggressive after 70 hands. Did you see any silly showdowns by him? Then I'd like the 4bet a bit more, but we still have to account for the UTG, so calling is just fine imo.

People need to realize JJ isn't a pure set mine when we call preflop here . If it was a pure setmine we should be calling 22 for the same reasons and we just wouldn't do that. Were going to continue postflop and play poker .

Looking at villain i think calling is fine. I also couldn't argue with a 4bet gii vs villain either, i think both lines are ok . But i prefer calling preflop over cold 4betting because of UTG .

Also someone adviced 4bet shoving and I forgot to mention how terrible that would be. :)
