Bad run draining my account - right after account successfully verified.

Hello Pokerstrategy, This is my first post here. I am writing this post because I was wondering there are other people having the same expierence as i am having, on 888 poker. I have been playing on 888 poker for 6 months, the reason being I thought it is better than any other website out there. Obviously they made me change my mind.. There was a time about a month ago where I managed to finally reach a 5k bankroll, starting with only a 3 dollar tournament ticket. So when I started to think about cashing out (for the first time), I thought maybe I should verify my account first so there will be no delays, or complications. During the time I was waiting for the verification to be completed, I had a bad run. Bankroll went down to 3k, so I decided to not cash out until I ran it backup to atleast 5k again. That was the worst decision ever to be made. My hard-earned bankroll started to slowly pour down the drain. buy in after buy in, tournament after tournament, I would loose. My dominating hands would loose to the less favoured hands over and over again, and it even reached a point where I would be ahead preflop and postflop, and I could predict that the river card would fuck me over, and this was happening constantly through out the playing session. It felt like this unnatural probability bending, something i had never experienced at the site before. As if the site was trapping me, making me hands I couldn't possibly fold because of the good odds, and screwing my over by the time the river came. Dont call me a conspiracy theorist, I am not one of the guys in the "rigged" jerkoff circle. I do not believe online poker is rigged. But this really got me thinking, wondering what the hell is going on. Anyways. It was up to the point where I could not run my roll up slightly. My roll was slowly going down, and now afterwards when looking at my graph, it is a constant line downwards. I was playing with perfect bankroll management rules, so I wont blame variance either. I am obviously a winning player since I grinded the 3 dollars all the way up to 5k. Now I have 0 on my account since I just gave up when there was only a 100 dollars on my account. I cashed that out and stopped playing. But the question still remains. What the hell happend to my account? It was like a curse, right after the account verification. Anyone else who expierenced this? Note worthy is that about the same time of the account verification, I also reached Gold status. I always thought the people saying online poker sites are rigged were retarded. But I have lately gotten a feel for them. Is it possible that they couldve guessed I was going to cashout my 5k, and gave me a bad run to have more money circulating around the poker tables? I know 5k isn't a significant amount of money for them but on the bigger scale if they do this, they could probably reach millions of dollars. Just a theory though. I really dont know. What I DO know is that something sick happend to that account and it wasn't variance. People with the same expierence, tell me about it, ideas, solutions, anything.

Talking from a person that made 1.3k in 3 months on 888 poker I can guarantee you it isn't rigged. I went on $300 downswings playing nL30 its normal get used to it .

Exact same thing happened to me - got to $2,000 then as soon as I went to withdrawal and verify the bad beats started and haven't stopped. I got some ridiculous sets when I first started playing. Glad I read your experience - I'm cashing out ASAP. Appears to work the same on Poker Stars as well. Suspect they have an algorithm that makes you win early then lose as soon as you start wanting to withdrawal.
