Maybe good to post 1 hand a time on our Hand discussions for Tournaments or Hand discussions for Sit and Go-Tournaments board.

This way you get better feedback on your hands. Also everyone will find it faster than on the normal SNG board.

Cheers,

Ok, ... I'll give it a go. But since none of the hands give information about the format (SNG or MTT) or stake, sometimes it's difficult to give an answer that is specifically correct for that situation.

Hand 1: defend is fine, even could argument for a 3bet for value against this villain, but since he's short stacked I think defend is preferable. As played really dislike the donk otf. Readless this is a x/f imo. We could be talking about why (not) to polarize your range here, but with villains stats en given stakes I don't think this is important enough. Even for a stab I don't think villain is good enough to fold easilly. So now villain calls our stab, we are checking and basically giving up... so why are we calling villain again? I think against these type of players cutting out these lines/plays really helps your ROI longterm.

Hand 2: fold imo for several reasons. His sizing, his position, shorties left to act. If this is a one table SNG we don't want to have a big clash here light.

Hand 3: fold pre imo. With 25bb effective stacksize we don't have enough room for postflop play to make this profitable enough. As played, check flop. We will almost always be only called by better and we have showdownvalue. As played shove is fine for max value against Ax.

Hand 4: pre is fine, could even go a bit bigger here. With the common strategy/advice not to bluff into multiple opponents, I think x/f flop is fine. ott we have to call the 1bb bet since we are getting the correct price. River raise is thin I guess. What hands we are beating that will call this raise? QT?

Hand 5: fine

Hand 6: what is the question here?

Hand 7: bad shove imo.
first: pre we should raise bigger for value and to compensate for being OOP. Though a limp-reraise mostly indicates a strong hand, he is giving us a good price. So ok with the rest of the pre action.
Otf it goes (very) wrong imo. It's the same pattern which pops up in some of the hands above. Why are we raising? What is your plan?
So on this JJ5 board, why are we raising? 1) to get value from worse hands or 2) to make better hands fold. I don't ever think we will get value from worse hands, so I guess we can rule out 1. Maybe Axs or broadway suited, but that still has tons of equity against our hand. So what better hands will we really fold out here? Maybe pp's below JJ, that are betting for protection? I'd rather call here to keep all of his (semi) bluffs in and keep his range as wide a possible. But when villain cold 4 bets I'm definately done with the hand (at least at the lower/mid stakes). You choose to 5bet shove, which has one big problem. It folds out ALL of his worse hands and will only get called by better for sure. And next to that with what range of hands will you really take this line? Value: Jx (which only has few combo's) and 55 (which doesn't always raise flop). Thats it basically. Next to that we have total bluffs and tons of flushdraws. With your line I think that your value range is very small compared to a bigger (semi)bluff range. If villain would have the time and capability to read the situation, I even think he could advocate a correct call with his K5 (though his PF line is rubbish off course). Funny hand, strange plays.

Hand 8: shove pre imo. As played fine.
