Once more, pure disgust filled my veins after having been delivered a suckout of the more disgusting kind by a donkey whose braindeadness cannot be measured.

The brainlagger had 54/13 stats over 75 hands. Therefore my preflop raise with A9 is not only a blindsteal but also a raise for value against the mule. Of course it calls. No surprise.

I flop trips and the mule does what braindead donkeys do: Nasty sucker-donk-minbets. I call the flop to not raise it from its bluffs with the intention to raise the turn if it continues its pathetic minbetting-game. That is exactly what happens in the hand.

When I saw the 2nd queen on the river I already had a strange feeling in my guts but the drunktard checked so I thought it cannot be possible that it has a queen. But this consideration did obv. not take the donkeys outstanding braindeadness into account. On a higher level of course one might argue the river-check was a tricky play but on this level I am convinced that the mule did not think much when it checked. However, would you shove the river here against the dirty donkey as well, hoping it might call with random pairs because it does not understand that it is basically playing the board with pairs < 99? In the end, donkeys often find reasons to call with whatever because they are so nasty and braindead.

2nd (hypothetic) question: After the flop and turn-action, if the mule had insta-shoved the river, would you guys have found a fold with the 2nd best hand here against the retard?

Cheers, thx for all your answers.

I would shove the turn.

Loose passiv donk goes all in usually with nuts, then you are behind, easy fold but they dont like to shove, they love to call.

Against a loose passive fish, I would consider raising the flop for value, because it’s likely he would lead with a Q or pairs like TT or JJ and he will never fold that on a 400 raise and then you can shove most turns for value.

As played I would consider checking behind the river. I don’t think he would ever call with the last 9 or worse.

flop call is fine. This keeps all of his bluffs and strange other hands in.
Turn I'm defo raising bigger, maybe even shove (since with such a shallow stack a non-all in raise looks soooo strong). Value from every Q, straight draws and now maybe even flushdraws.

As played I'm checking back river. I mean, what hands are we expecting value from?
