Preflop we see an open-limp from an unknown (most likely a donkey --> most likely not trapping). Another unknown (75/38 stats over 8 hands --> most likely donkey) makes a min-raise (--> definitely donkey). A third unknown with rather solid stats (26/22 over 39 hands) makes an iso-3-bet. Here I go with AKo in the early phase... I am lightyears ahead of UTG1+2 for sure but I am somewhat worried about MP3's range so I decide to flat instead of shoving. I hate 4-betting here to ~400, then missing the flop in 2/3 cases, having invested almost 1/3 of my starting stack... Which preflop line do you think is best here?

We go to the flop 4-way because the button (33/17 over 6 hands) snapcalls behind me... I flop TPTK but of course I am anything but delighted. If the inital preflop aggressor had made a c-bet to ~400 I would have folded otf. However after he checks to me I decide I might have the best hand and decide to bet for protection + thin value.

The donkey have of course tons of combos in their ranges that crush this flop: KQ, KJ, QJ, QQ, JJ, AT, T9 as well as lots of draws...

The nine on the turn gives every ten a straight and I am like "alright, I am outta here..."

Do you think I could have played the hand any better?

Pre-flop seems fine. It will be ugly if we will face a 4bet, but I don’t think it’s bad to call with 2 donkeys that would most likely call as well and we also play most of the time in position.

As played the flop is nasty with a lot of draws possible of all players and against 3 players I would bet at least 400 for thin value and protection and shove on a blank turn if we play 1 against 1.

Turn and river seems standard to me.

AKo doesn't really do well in multiway pots. Only factor to go with a flat would be that we are in position and that we choose the low variance way.
I'd go for ~400 pre and try to be HU in pos.

As played this is an ugly flop multiway. But with so much invested, we really can't do anything other than bet flop (bigger!) with our TPTK and gutshot.
