This flop needs a raise. When that river completes some draws, it doesn't need a bet

I would prefer to c/r flop. There are so many cards you will not see at turn and they also can kill the action. So i try to get broke at flop or at least at river.

At the end i would check / fold the river. The draw completed and if he dont have the flush i think he will check the river too.

Xr flop on this board is the right play.
With just calling you give him the opportunity to set the price for drawing.
On the river I do not get why do you donk? Flush got there, There are a couple of straights ... what do you hope for there?

So raise broke on this flop? Surely we're getting it in behind?
Mmm.

OTF you are not behind. There are a lot of weaker hands that will call you.

there is no problem of going broke on that flop, but if you call there you cant have any bluffs which is also a problem since you might want to x/r this board as bluff some times. It happens this time villain has a combo draw that still has 40% vs set but as nitrol said there are weaker hands that will call you

And if we face a 3B? Get it in?

yes, set vs set is very unlikely and depending on villain 3b range otf u are ahead most of the time

you should not be afraid of playing a big pot when holding a set, i understand that this board being oop makes it a bit harder but you can compensate this by overbetting some turns, also villain will put more money when he is behind so you should be happy. pls dont put results next hand though

Yes, you should get it in. That is why you play pp preflop.

Wow, first thing I thought when I saw the hand was "raise flop" and so does others also, so I think I might even be right in this one. :)
