Turn: (12.63 BB, 2 players) 3♣
Hero checks, MP+2 bets 13 BB, fold,

I feel like he has a ton of Aces in his range, but because the SPR OTT I possibly should have a) Cbet smaller OTF, and/or, b) Shoved the turn and not checked.

I dont get why are you betting the flop. CBetting here is simply a mistake.
I presume you think that you get value (and protection) against lower pocket pairs and flush draws.

About the FDs - you are very likely to get shoved on if your oponent has a FD in such a low SPR. Against his shoving range of FDs, Ax and sets you are crushed. So you are probably folding. That means you dont have to wory about protecting against FDs. Also, if a flush card comes OTT you have a draw to the nuts so you can continue if the price is right anyway.

About the lower PPs - yes, you almost certainly get value from them OTF. But you can get that value on a later street if it goes check-check. And you probably cant have more than 1 street of value against those hands.

There are pretty much no bad cards for your hand on the turn, so you can safely check and call a reasonable bet.And ofcourse hes going to give away his strong hands if he bets big. So you really should be checking this flop. And dont be afraid that your oponent may read you, because you are being "capped". You can easily uncap your range by checking some Ax and FDs there. :f_thumbsup:

Its alot better to CBet hands like 88-JJ because often your oponents will fold their JT-KQ, thus you deny them equity. With QQ and KK you dont need to deny them. You actually want them to hit their underpair, so they can pay up atleast 1 bet :f_thumbsup:

As played OTF, you can again check and hope for a cheap showdown. Fold vs this gigantic bet.

Against a unknown it’s not too bad to Cbet, but with the backdoor flush draw and our small stack I would check it as well to keep the pot small. If he bet big you an easy fold like now.

I think it was played ok. Cbet would fold out pairs. But leave aces/flush draws. And we can be done with the hand.
