Hi fellas _drink:, here i bring you a not much special hand, but i have doubts with it anyways haha.

PokerStars - $0.05 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 4 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

Hero (SB): 139.4 BB
BB: 100 BB (VPIP: 20.00, PFR: 15.00, 3Bet Preflop: 4.35, Hands: 61)
CO: 100 BB (VPIP: 23.50, PFR: 17.82, 3Bet Preflop: 5.96, Hands: 664)
BTN: 100 BB (VPIP: 16.67, PFR: 16.67, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 13)

Hero posts SB 0.4 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has K♠ K♥

fold, BTN raises to 2.4 BB, Hero raises to 9 BB, fold, BTN calls 6.6 BB

Flop: (19 BB, 2 players) 3♦ 9♣ 4♦
Hero bets 12.4 BB, BTN calls 12.4 BB

Turn: (43.8 BB, 2 players) 8♠
Hero bets 26.2 BB, BTN calls 26.2 BB

River: (96.2 BB, 2 players) 7♠
Hero ??

What should i do in here? I think the board impact much in his call range in blinds war. Also the 7 complete the 56 straight and the TJ one... T6 too but just call with it if they were diamonds i think (and probably fold OTT).

The line i take was check/call, to keep his bluffs/missed draws in...

What do you think?

Spoiler

Hero checks, BTN checks

Hero shows K♠ K♥ (One Pair, Kings)
(Pre 79%, Flop 82%, Turn 89%)
BTN mucks T♠ 9♠ (One Pair, Nines)
(Pre 21%, Flop 18%, Turn 11%)
Hero wins 92.2 BB

It is a spooky looking board for sure. Shoving river is not a mistake but check/calling to bluff catch is not a bad option imo. I think check/folding is meh. If you know him to flat wider with lower F3B then I'd adjust by using 12X instead of 9xBB since we are oop.

Hi Dr1fter808, i agreed with the adjust to 12X if i known him, but in this case i just have 13 hands about him.

Totally agreed with the shove OTR, but i think it's maybe a more Ev+ movement to just bluff catch.

Thanks for the answer :f_drink:
