Yea he should have some lower sets and why not 2pair also. Flush draws miss, only QJ beats you. I assume he calls pre with only suited, so there are 4 combos beating you? I think this is too tight fold, now you are putting villain only on 4 combos just because he raised you OTT on a drawy board and barreled on a blank river.

For me, it is a close one, but I think you should still call here.

i would reshove the turn, if he has it then he has it. at least enough people slowplay their sets to the turn

I've no idea if I am, I haven't made any money in almost 50k hands,.. feel my games pretty lost

I agree that you can call here as villain has more weaker hands in his range than hands that beat you.

You are only losing against QJ or weird played 42 hand on the river. I would most likely go broke on turn and if he has QJ it’s unlucky. I doubt he would ever fold after a raise.

I would have pushed all in, If your not to sure play lower stakes for a while. It stinks you sit in a tournament for two hours make a bad call and its all over hurts like f*** been there loads the learning curve

when you get confused and don't know the guy just look at all the hands you can have
and think about how many are folding
and the more you are sure he's not bluffing the more you can fold - and here he can only have 4 straight combinations
if he were at least in the bb he can have 16, you want to be wary of just folding everything when he represents a very narrow range

You have 55 TT KK AK ATs if you cbet that and only 4 combinations of QJs
On top of that with AA you actually beat valuebets, 55 TT possibly even flatted AK some people use
And usually when that's the case you just want to call it off

So here you can call AA and still be very tight/disciplined in the same situation, fold even AK and 55
