Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has Q♥ A♠
Thoughts:
Spoiler
Against a raise from MP/LP, I usually 3-bet here or squeeze against a raiser+cold caller.
But, because the raise was coming from EP and the SB looked nit, I though he and the BB wouldn't engage in the hand, so I would end up playing in it HU and IP.
fold, UTG+1 raises to 3 BB, fold, fold, fold, fold, Hero calls 3 BB, SB calls 2.5 BB, BB calls 2 BB
Flop: (12 BB, 4 players) A♣ 2♦ 7♥
Thoughts:
Spoiler
Very dry board here, so betting 1/2 pot to keep worst Ax and maybe 88-99 in the hand.
SB checks, BB checks, UTG+1 checks, Hero bets 7 BB, fold, BB calls 7 BB, fold
Turn: (26 BB, 2 players) 3♣
Thoughts:
Spoiler
Turn is a blank (most of the times), so checking behind to try to induce bluffs OTR, by worst hands, and to control the pot if villain holds AK, 77 or 22.
BB checks, Hero checks
River: (26 BB, 2 players) A♥
Thoughts:
Spoiler
I rarely make this play because I never know how much to pay, OTR.
If the villain bets pot size or shoves here, my first impulse is to reach the fold button
