SB: $50 (100 bb)
BB: $50 (100 bb)
UTG: $64.47 (128.9 bb)
Hero (MP): $50 (100 bb)
CO: $58.56 (117.1 bb)
BTN: $136.15 (272.3 bb)
Preflop: Hero is MP with J♠: J♦:
UTG raises to $1.25, Hero raises to $4.50, 3 folds, BB calls $4, UTG raises to $12, Hero calls $7.50, BB calls $7.50
Flop: ($36.25) 7♠: 8♥: 5♥: (3 players)
BB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets $10, BB calls $10, UTG folds
Turn: ($56.25) 4♦: (2 players)
BB bets $28 and is all-in, Hero folds
Preflop: UTG plays 26/24 in 92 hands, folds 33% to 3bets in the sample size. Decided to 3bet for value vs him. BB is unknown, playing 67/17 in 6 hands. Profably a fish when cold calling a 3bet on the BB. When UTG 4bets, his range is strong, ofcourse, but probably not KK+ only. Since I get a good price to call and there is a chance that a weaker player join, I decided to call.
Flop: After two checks, I decided to bet a bit over 1/4 because it looks like the board missed an UTG (most likelly AK). BB could also have a broadway, then TT-99, some straightdraws and flushdraws probably, but also sets and two pairs. So my bet was for protection mostly. The plan was to fold if someone raises and probably shove the turn vs fish on a blank.
Turn: I don't think I have 25% equity to call. He could still have some flushdraws and maybe a hand like 98, or AK-AQ, but it's not that likelly. If he wanted to bluff, he would probably shove the flop and I don't think he is value betting worse.
