(FR) QQ - slowplay?

We can't check behind the flop because we are first to act. We can check and then fold, call or raise if he bets. Slowplaying this hand definitelly makes sense in some situations (when the opponent is aggressive, for example). UTG looks very loose/passive, so I wouldn't slowplay vs him if he was fullstacked. He is probably capable of calling three streets with worse hands, and we cant expect passive player to bet vs our check, so we are losing value with checking. Since he has just 28BB left, 2 streets will be enough to get all the money in, so it makes sense to check the flop and let him to hit something and/or be more ready to call later streets, thinking we are not that strong (i.e. we capped our range OTF).

You're right. I missed the correct position, when I commented the hand.

I'd rather just lead. He's probably calling all his pocket pairs that you might miss a street of value from if another overcard hits.
Think we could bet flop check turn as a better play.

Then again it is NL2,.. 3 streets 😁

Would u cbet with AJ or 99 on that board structure? For sure u will. Considering the fact it is NL2, we have to play straight forward, else we're loosing value.

I think you are all missing UTG's stack size. If we bet 2 streets a bit over 1/2, he will be all in. So with the absolute nuts on this bone dry board, I think it's better to check, let him improve OTT or let him think that we are weak so he can call us lighter (maybe bluff/value raise from time to time).
