Hey guys,

iam gonna post two hands here in this thread, where iam not sure how to act OTR.

Hand 1:

888 Poker - $0.05 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 5 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

UTG: 112.4 BB
CO: 127 BB
BTN: 186 BB
Hero (SB): 116.8 BB
BB: 158.2 BB

Hero posts SB 0.4 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has 9♥ 9♦

UTG raises to 3 BB, fold, BTN calls 3 BB, Hero calls 2.6 BB, fold

Flop: (10 BB, 3 players) 5♣ 6♥ 5♠
Hero checks, UTG checks, BTN bets 6.8 BB, Hero calls 6.8 BB, fold

Turn: (23.6 BB, 2 players) 8♠
Hero checks, BTN checks

River: (23.6 BB, 2 players) 5♦
Hero bets 8 BB, BTN calls 8 BB.

Preflop its a call for set mining. Postflop i dont want to lead it so iam just x/c since there´s no overcard. After the turn checks iam sure to hold the best hand. The river is a blank. Hoping to get some weak call of Ace high i just bet 1/3 pot. Should this been bigger or x/c again?

Hand 2:

888 Poker - $0.05 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 5 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BB: 138.6 BB
UTG: 102.8 BB
CO: 87.2 BB
Hero (BTN): 98.6 BB
SB: 141.6 BB

SB posts SB 0.4 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has 8♦ 9♦

fold, fold, Hero raises to 2.6 BB, SB calls 2.2 BB, fold

Flop: (6.2 BB, 2 players) K♥ 4♦ K♦
SB checks, Hero bets 3 BB, SB calls 3 BB

Turn: (12.2 BB, 2 players) 9♠
SB checks, Hero bets 7 BB, SB calls 7 BB

River: (26.2 BB, 2 players) 2♠
SB checks, Hero checks

Standard openraise preflop and then leading with my FD. Hitting second pair OTT i have even some kind of showdown value. Don't see any hand i am getting some value of. so i check behind OTR. Or do we have a b/f here?

Hoping for some advices

Tonyx86, hey!

1st hand: If you were sure to had the best hand I supposed you wanna value and I would bet here at least 3/4 of the pot. As you didn't share any information regarding villain I supposed he'll call any size, co's he didn't put you in 99 is this spot and hands like A8 or A6 will call you anyway.

2nd hand: I would try a bluff cath here!

1st hand - seems standard - I would have bet bigger on the river, especially if you want a bluffing range here.
2nd hand - as played - check and realise your equity. Also check all your pairs in this spot. Bet Kx, 44 and your missed flush draws. I don't think you have a thin-value range here
