JJ vs 3bet OOP

Sure, my thinking is that villain has a small 3bet% over a fairly decent sample size. This puts him on TT+, Aks and AKo. A range that clearly crushes mine. However, not much more thought went into it than that. I guess a learning point for me is thinking about planning ahead more.

I call the flop bet hoping to float the river if he has a hand like AKso, AQso. But when he barrels the turn I'm just losing discipline and burning money. I guess planning ahead would have gave me the option to check-raise the flop, as if I am going to call another bet OTT, then why not bet myself, take the initiative AND get some folds.

I think that if villain's overall 3b range is around 3% then his 3b range from this position will be eben tighter...

So you think it was a fold to his 3bet pre flop? If so, I think you might be right. I don't think its ever a good idea to 4bet in this spot.
Going to the flop I could have check-raised OTF like I said above but I think the best play was really just folding the hand pre flop.

4b preflop is out of the question here. But you can call his 3b, though.
On flop I would not make any fancy moves. What will you achieve by xr? QQ+ is not folding... You will fold all hands that you beat except the AcKc that have a ton of equity against you.
