No reads. His attempt to steal is 13% (2 of 15)
At this limit, blind defense seems a waste of money...
How "standard" was that, specially OTR?

His steal% is low for sure, but normal AJo is a clear 3bet for value against a BTN raise.
The rest of the hand seems alright. You could consider making a value bet on the river, because I doubt he will ever has an ace here and if he’s raising you have an easy fold.

Cheers,

I would still 3bet pre.
I hate being the one calling all the streets, but i think i would call otr.

Playing oop without initiative is not my favourite game. 3betting avoids some postflop problems. So will it be you who dictates the bet size otf, giving him worse odds. If he really does not fold pf or otf, you will bet the turn. If he calls, he makes a mistake, and you win in the long run.

SDK, but how would that be for value, against a possible tag, if only better hands would call a 3-bet?
I mean, in an A-high board, after a 3-bet flop, only bigger Aces would continue to call, I think.

I'd say we could do it (3-bet) for folding equity and to make the post flop easy, but to extract value for worst Ax, calling down looks a lot better, every now and then.

With AQ+, my tendency would be to 3-bet pre.

Does that make sense?
