Apologies for not having a detailed HH.

I'll try to reproduce it.

I'm UTG w/ A♠:K♣:
I am the shortest stack at the table with 8 big blinds, and I'm 13 out of 16 with 14 paid.
The player on my left is 14th, but is sitting out. The other two short stacks have about 80% of my stack size and are on the other table.

The players on this table all have enough chips to call my shove and not risk missing the money.
What is more, they all seem to like to call very wide.

Push or fold?

Thanks,
VS

AKo is for me almost always a push. Only if this is a satellite I would fold this hand with 14 the same paid-outs.

Hate this hand at this stage of the game. My usual track on this would be to shove regardless as it is still a good hand even UTG. Thoroughly unlucky should you have better behind you. :f_thumbsup:

Well the worst of it is I was pretty sure that with the maniacal play these guys exhibit that I would sneak into the money. The sitting-out guy was behind me, which meant I had to go through the blinds first, and one of the other two shorties doubled up. And after the sitter-outer left I got no help from the deck.

I'll be playing another of these today.

Cheers,
