BTN vs BB calling down TP over 3 streets?

He reaches you for some pairs or Jx so he tries to get paid. So fold is ok here. He doesnt have sets or full houses otherwise he would bet higher at river.

JT, QQ+ i would expect depending on this line.

He obviously got a made hand and expecting u to have some Jx paying him out. He dont wanna loose value or giving free cards. Semibluffing with a draw is unlikely on a rainbow flop and paired turn board.

It is not that standard to call 3b preflop with this hand. You can 4b/fold with it.

How is your range in BTN vs. unkwon villain?
Even your calling range and your 4 bet range?

4B/fold is a defend move too. You do not fold, so you defend.

In stead of giving my ranges, write yours so discussion can be made.

In my range KJo is 4B bluff, have good blokers and don't play well postflop and this is example. It is fold OTR, imo, no many bluffs in viliain range.

Readless, C-C-F is good here. As you mentioned villain's B-B-B in a 3bet pot vs the population is a strong line. The disconnected rainbow flop gives villain even less bluffs on the river.

KJo here I think is ok to play as a 3bet call. As others said it can also be used well as a 4bet/fold. It is up to you and how you play postflop imo.

I dont know what u guys open but in my 50% stealing range is kjo a clear defend (i.call it) and its not even bottom of my range. Of course u can 4b it, but call.should be pretty ok as well. I would play call call fold postflop.

I think you can call preflop only if you have stats or info on villain.

Of course I fold KJo if I have stats on Villain stating that he's 3bet in BB is only small, but you have position, strong blockers, high card value and many times a wide range you play against.

The problem is that most of the time you will be dominated by villain's range and you will be calling one or two streets with not that of a strong hand...
